The trees of Hosagi park were in full bloom, their scent, carried on a gentle breeze, filled the air will a mixture of heady perfume. Birds chattered in the treetops and flittered across a clear blue sky. It was a beautiful day. The perfect day to be outside in.
Which was why Peorth was there. She wore a long sleeved black t-shirt, a red rose in the corner, and a pair of denim shorts, with white ankle socks and black and white trainers. On her shoulder she carried an old messenger style bag. The breeze making its way through the park sent her long brown hair waving, her fringe falling in her eyes. She used her free hand to hold her hair out of the way as she looked around her. Her smile grew as she saw potential everywhere. She could just sit where she was and draw what was in front of her, then turn forty five degrees and see something just as beautiful to draw. But then she heard laughter and her cheeks burnt. The only down side was the park was full of people.
Now, Peorth didn't have a problem with people, persay. She just didn't like drawing in front of them. Even though one of the reasons she'd come to the park was to practice drawing people. Her blush deepened when a couple of boys looked her way. She looked down, an arm across her, too large in her opinion, chest, and walked deeper into the park.
She checked behind her occasionally, in case those boys were following her, but she couldn't see them. So after awhile, she slowed down and relaxed slightly. She looked around her, and noticed that there weren't any people around. She smiled and sat on a bench, her bag besides her. She opened it and pulled out a sketchbook and a pencil. She opened the sketchbook to a blank page, then began to draw.
