Welcome to Seicho no Hana! Below are defined the rules of the site. If you have any questions or worries, please PM and admin or post in the cbox.general rules

- Respect the admins and moderators. We are doing the best we can to provide you with a good roleplaying community. If you disagree with something or find something unfair, we will gladly listen to you so long as you're polite!
- If you have an issue with someone or something, please express this to an admin as soon as possible. We do not want fights on the boards or chatbox.
- Questions should be asked directly to admins. Feel free to private message any of the admins with your questions.
- Keep All Posts Clean. This means PG-13 and below. Things are allowed to be implied, but really graphic images and descriptions are not allowed. This is Proboard's rules, so we can't be responsible for suspensions or frozen accounts by proboards itself. Also on account of us not wanting to get the site deleted, we will warn you up to 3 times before possibly banning you from the site.
- The staff has the right to change the rules. We will alert you of any major rule changes, but just be warned.
- Please tell us if you are leaving for a while Hiatuses are allowed and welcome, of course, but to avoid your characters getting archived while you're gone you might want to tell us when you're leaving and when you're expected to return. It's also polite to mention it to your thread partners, too.

- You must have one account per character. OOC accounts are allowed as well, but not required.
- No God Modding, Power-Playing, etc. Usual roleplaying rules. These things are for respect to other roleplayers as well as keeping everything fair and even.
- Literacy, please. Make sure to write enough to give your partners something to work with! We recommend one paragraph at the least, but understand when writer's block or slow sections happen. No matter what though, absolutely no one liners. Please try and elaborate as much as you can.
- When speaking out of character, please use the general notice for that. (aka: OOC: , ((insert type here)) , and then BIC: when going back to roleplaying)
- No "perfect" characters. Every character has their flaws and weaknesses, no one can perfect all the time. Make sure to define these in your character to make them more interesting and believable.
- Follow the Character Form. Yes you may add and elaborate on your character, but make sure you keep the main stuff included.
- There is no hard limit on number of characters you can create and play. However, try not to overstretch yourself and make so many you keep track. The worst thing to do really is to abandon someone mid-thread.
- Tell us before you modify your character's profile. Just contact an admin and we will give it a quick look over, make sure it's still following the rules.
- You are allowed to have your character in multiple threads at the same time. But make sure you can handle all of your threads.
- Character Images not be life pictures or cosplay images. In general, images should be in an animanga style. Original/one-off characters from artists can be used. Please run it by an admin if you're unsure. Your own art is welcome to be used so long as it is within the animanga style of the site.
- Mark your incomplete apps with Work In Progress. You have a total of 10 Days to Complete it or your app will be moved to the archives.
Activity rules

- Anyone who has not been online in 8 weeks is at risk of having their characters archived! This means their profile forms will be moved to the inactive thread. {Never deleted!}
- If you would like your character back, please contact an admin or moderator on discord with your character's name. It will be moved into the pending applications until approved normally
- Please Don't Abandon Your Characters! It makes it difficult for every one.
