Not much longer before it'd be too dark to read.
It wasn't often that Yuri sought the quiet and comfort of the roof for her after-class studying, even less so recently with all the spring rain usually keeping it damp and inconvenient for sitting on. She just didn't like always being cooped up in the same spot(s), wanted a change in scenery, and figured this was a nice one with a cool breeze and no one around to interrupt. As much as she hated the work, she did have to keep her grades up. Why not do it somewhere else once in a blue moon?
The open book in her lap came from history class--one of her least favorite subjects. The others she could at least understand, they had practical knowledge that could be applied either daily or in different types of careers, but the only thing she could see learning about history would give her the chance to do was... become a history teacher some day. Just the thought of all its pointlessness had Yuri's eyes in a permanent, disappointed droop every time she studied it. Like now.
That droop came replaced with a flinch and a pair of raised brows, however, when a sudden wind caused rustling in a little stack of papers that sat next to her, as well as her ponytail to circle around into her face. By the time she removed it, she caught one flowing upward with the wind and shot a hand out to snatch it, but missed. Quickly setting her book aside, she leaped up to her feet for pursuit.
Dammit, I am not redoing that thing! she thought, peering up to see that it had gotten caught in the top of the fence blocking the roof's edge. Good, as long as another breeze didn't swoop in, she could retrieve it...
The paper happened to be the first page of a report she'd been working on for almost a week. Yuri, with no intention of losing it, faced and latched onto the fence to begin working her way up. She'd climbed many fences in her day for... reasons, so it hardly took much time at all for her to reach the top. Now to retrieve it.
Alright, careful...

Taerin was actually new to the academy and giving herself a quick tour and the first thing she would discover would be the rooftops. To add onto the plus side, today was a beautiful day with little sings hinting a bad weather was about to commence, so it would be nice to just sit out here and take advantage of the beauty Mother Nature left. Besides the fact that it was spring which might explain why the weather was so nice, that was besides the point.
So far, Taerin doesn't really know anyone as yet, but it was a good thing. No one knows she was a violent person nor did anyone know she can get very physical. It was time for her to turn over a new leaf; start fresh and hopefully get a good reputation. But who knows when all of that could change? Taerin might jinx herself probably within thirty seconds if that's possible. Chances are, it might be. Of course she already disappointed her father once from getting expelled, so it would be for the best to just try not to screw up again. Or at least screw up and getting caught.
She had her bag strap sticking onto her left shoulder as she climbed up the stairs. As someone who's athletic, it was a great exercise for her legs. Taerin figured she could spend some alone time on the rooftops just to read for a little bit and then go back inside and attempt to start her wonderful adventures of starting a fresh slate. Making her way up the stairs, she finally arrived to the rooftops. If she said so herself, the view was wonderful. The sky was as blue as ever, the clouds slowly drifting about on the skies, a girl about to climb over the fence and jump off-
Wait, a girl about to climb and jump over a fence?!
Without even trying to think on what that girl might be doing, Taerin knows she has to take immediate action. No way in hell was she about to let a possibility of a cute girl fall off a roof! Dropping her bad and with the use of her athleticism, she darted straight to the fence to where the girl was in a matter of seconds as she would attempt to try and grab the girl's leg as soon as she was under her.
Before even trying to grab the girl's leg as she was under her, Taerin was then distracted by a lovely view given by the girl's skirt. She couldn't help but just form a large goofy grin with a faint of redness taking over her cheeks. Those were some actually nice and lovely panties this girl had. Taerin wondered if she could take those off from where she was and even get a more beautiful- damn it, Taerin! Now isn't the time to act like this!
Shaking her head to get to her senses, Taerin attempted to reach the girl's leg, hoping to get her attention. "Wait!" She called as she would then try to yank the girl down and hopefully catch afterwards, dropping her to the ground where Taerin would then quickly pin the girl down on the ground, just in case she might do anything funny to run back to the fence and try to climb over it again. Again, there was no way in hell she'd try to let anyone die; not while Taerin's around. Who the hell would want to see a cute girl die like that, anyway?!

Just a liiiittle further...
Evidently while scaling the fence, another light breeze moved the paper about half a meter to her left. Now she was at an inconvenient position to actually grab it, but it wasn't impossible. She had herself propped up against the top of the fence, trying to scoot carefully to her side, avoiding getting her uniform snagged on any bits of protruding metal lest she end up ripping it and need to pester someone to sew it for her...
"Wait!
"... Eh?
The footsteps that approached went unnoticed, and once Yuri heard an unexpected shout from below, the startling feeling of foreign hands on her legs caused an understandable flinch. Her head turned quickly to look down at who might have showed up while she was distracted--good, not a teacher scolding her for climbing this fence--and replied, "Wait for wh-aahh..!" Tried to, anyways. Her voice was cut off and replaced by an awkward shout as she found her grip on the fence slacken, thanks to the hand yanking her downward from below. Those generic scenes in anime where that last moment of hope was cut away, and everything was shown in slow motion?
That was now.
As Yuri toppled down, another light breeze sent her paper fluttering from the top of the fence right off the other side. Now there was no way she was ever getting it back. But toward more immediate concerns, a loss of balance did well to have her land on the roof with a loud and uncomfortable thud, only to find herself immobilized shortly after when she tried to sit up. Her eyes had closed due to the impact, but when she opened them up, the reason for her stationary position was clear.
Previously closed but now widened, Yuri's eyes stared up at the unfamiliar face of the one who'd yanked her down. Putting aside the fall for just a moment, this was... awkward positioning. It wasn't often that other people managed to make Yuri blush--usually that happened only when she was "practicing her photography"--but the red discoloration to her cheeks was quite prominent at this point.
"He-... Hello..?!" Yuri blurted out, squirming in confusion beneath the stranger.

The good news about this was Taerin was able to stop the girl from climbing and falling off of the fence. Hooray! The downside... well... the positioning created when she pinned the girl down on the ground. Before even realizing the position these two were in, Taerin first was getting a better and clearer view of the other girl's face. And hell, was she a cute one; adorable with those widen eyes and a flushed expression settling on her face. So adorable she could just eat her up. Figuratively of course... for now. No Taerinm no perverted thoughts at a time like this! Wait, why was she blushing? Was Taerin so beautiful the girl couldn't help but feel a little hot on her face? Could be.
It only took Taerin just a few seconds to come to a realization that she was literally on top, pinning a random girl, forming an... indecent position. Oh... ooh... oh. Her large light blue eyes widen back at the girl's own as she took note of the position they were in as she tried her hardest to prevent herself from licking her lips at the girl from top to bottom; a habit she does whenever she sees a cute girl, but only ended up doing it just slightly, but not entirely. She doubt that the girl didn't even see that considering Taerin was looking right in her face.
The girl then exclaimed a hello right at Taerin as she squirmed. God damn it, this wasn't helping Taerin at all along with herself! She tried her best to keep herself at a cool level but it could be any second now that she'll turn into a stuttering mess. Taerin probably looks like some sort of creep or even a pervert. She had to think of something quick before the other girl gets the wrong idea. She was trying to climb over that fence and fall off from it... riiiight? Or at least that's what Taerin thought that was happening.
"I-I'm not letting you jump off that fence while I'm still on you!" Wow, that last part didn't sound so right as Taerin thought it out in her head. Regardless of that slight stutter, she immediately pulled her body directly onto the other girl's own, wrapping her arms around the her chest where she would the hug it, with her face onto the girl's chest, practically squishing her body against the other girl's own. As she sandwiched her body on the other girl's own to prevent her from trying to run back to that fence, Taerin couldn't help but notice on how soft this girl was, specifically on the chest area. It was like lying down on a very soft pillow. She wondered how it'd feel like without the clothes-
Damn it Taerin, focus!

Okay, this was new. How long had it been since she was in a position like this? Never, actually. Hell, Yuri rarely so much as hugged anyone, much less... whatever this was. Of course her face was red, she was stuck in the middle of an encounter with a potential predator. Even people in jail didn't go this far, what the heck kind of student had she run into? And up on the roof, even, where no one else would be around to break it up.
A bead of sweat found its way down the side of Yuri's face when she spotted the look on this stranger's face. In particular, that subtle lip-lick was concerning, enough to keep her squirming in attempt to slide out from under the girl, but a following motion made that impossible. Not at all dissimilar to those little squeaky toys that made noise when one squeezed them, a quiet "eep" found its way out of her lungs as a pair of arms wrapped around her torso. No longer just pinned anymore, now she was in a bear hug.
"Wh-What the heck are you doing?!" Yuri replied, her squirms escalating into actual struggling as the stranger's head buried its way into her chest. Her arms were pinned at her sides now, so she couldn't exactly use them to push this person off, and flailing around like she was didn't seem to help. Persistent, though, she kept it up regardless. What was that about jumping she heard..?
Whatever, she could address that once they separated. "G-Get off of me, who do you think you are?!" Yuri blurted out, red now from both embarrassment and anger. Her legs kicked against the fence, and while she did her best to twist and pull away, it didn't do much more than make their bodies-pressed-together positioning that much more awkward.
She was really a strong girl, but getting out of a position like this was still damn hard to accomplish.

The girl began to try and escape Taerin's hug, as expected. It was a good thing she trained herself to workout at home, not for situations like this, but for the idea that if anything like this situation were to one day pop up, she can put her strength to the test. Being asked on what she was doing, wasn't it obvious enough? Taerin was trying to save this girl's life and she wasn't even acknowledging it!
Perhaps she didn't make herself clear enough when Taerin mentioned she's trying to prevent the girl from killing herself, which might be understandable. "Trying to save your life!" She responded with a muffled bark as her face was burying itself onto the other girl's chest, with her hug tightening just a little bit. It was a good thing she managed to also trap her arms, so this made the other girl's struggling a little less difficult.
This was where Taerin actually started to struggle for a bit as the girl began to kick the fence, twisting, attempting to pull herself away, anything she can to get away from Taerin. Damn, not only this girl was pretty strong but does she really want to die that much? "I'm the girl that's trying to prevent you from jumping off this roof!" She continued her muffled barking. "Just why do you want to die that badly, anyway?!" She added, still trying her best to hug onto the redhead.
On a side note, this girl's chest was really soft, so in a way Taerin was actually enjoying hugging the girl's chest. It might be more enjoyable if she'd stop moving around and just calm down a bit. But then, Taerin might have to remove herself off of the girl. But what if the girl tries to make a move and quickly climb up that fence again? Curse these "what if" questions that kept storming around her head. For now, the best thing to do is to just keep hugging until the girl calms down.

Chances were that Taerin would hear a low, constant growl with her head so close to the chest. Yuri was becoming more and more irritated, her struggling persisted, and the alleged misunderstanding only escalated that response further. Trying to jump? Really? Was she expected to believe that in the position they were in, this was some kind, humanitarian act? Yeah right.
... Then again, when she thought about it, it must have looked pretty suspicious what she was doing up on the fence.
Still, that was no reason to go this far. "Nngh... I'm not gonna jump, dammit, let me go..!" Yuri shouted in reply. She was too flustered and angry to actually explain at the moment, too uncomfortable to keep still. The girl began pressing her feet off of the fence, trying to slide backwards, maybe slip out of the stranger's grasp somehow, but the grip on her torso was too tight. And as it got tighter, Yuri found it difficult to breathe.
If it weren't for that, maybe she could have settled down, but the need for air kept Yuri squirming. Her voice came out strained as she spoke again, a frustrated, "T-Too... tight..!" At this rate it wasn't a jump that would kill her, she'd end up suffocating or something. What an ironic way to "save" someone.
Oh boy, was this really how she'd die..?

Taerin began to hear some growls from the chest of the girl. Well, that wasn't a pleasant sound to hear, but had to do deal with it otherwise. Anyway back to the main point, Taerin didn't believe not one bit that the girl wasn't going to jump off. If she wasn't going to jump off, then why the hell was she climbing that freaking fence for?! Whatever it was for, Taerin was still refusing to let the girl go, even when she still continued to struggle to get out of Taerin's hug.
As the girl spoke again, it sounded like she was about to faint or losing oxygen. Coming to a realization that the girl was literally suffocating from Taerin's tight hug did she finally loosen up her grip on the girl's chest. She picked herself up from the other girl's body, unwrapping her arms from her torso while she was at it but she still remained at least hovering over the girl. Just in case anything goes wrong.
"Sorry about that..." Taerin apologized with a soft murmur, slightly embarrassed for the fact she almost squeezed the girl to her death instead. And damn, will she already miss that soft sensation. Still, what was that girl doing climbing up the fence like that? "But if you weren't going to jump off, then why were you climbing up that fence?" She asked, tilting her head to show that she was a little curious and confused. Taerin just hoped it wasn't some illogical answer such as practicing as a monkey to audition for a circus or... whatever... Taerin just needed an answer.

Finally she could breathe again. Yuri took full advantage of that with a deep breath, a quick exhale, and several repeats of that once she was finally released from the squeeze to her torso. Even better, the stranger finally picked herself up and--while not completely off--was at least not burying her face in Yuri's chest anymore. God, this was like a scene from some weird ecchi manga.
At least she wasn't suffocating anymore. "Practicing an audition to be a circus monkey," Yuri replied with obvious sarcasm, unaware of the irony in what she'd just said and what her attacker--or savior?--was just thinking. The previous growl was now in her voice as she spoke, and with her face still red, she shot an irritated glare up at Taerin. Best to actually give an explanation, lest she find herself squeezed nearly to death again.
"I was trying to retrieve a paper that the wind got stuck up there," she added, much emphasis on "was." "But since someone decided to yank me down right when I was almost there, who knows where it flew off to by now?"
Moving her hands up, now that she was finally able to, Yuri placed one on each of Taerin's shoulders as if to say "back off." No more uncomfortable squeezing, but it still was a little odd to be pinned down like she was. "Can you get off of me now?"

Taerin was a little shocked to hear the ridiculous response the girl gave. Not because she said it as she was able to catch on the sarcasm but because Taerin was actually thinking of that response. This just got a little weird for her, but that wasn't the main point. The main point was that this girl clearly wasn't happy with what Taerin just did by that annoyed glare and a hint of anger. This wasn't gonna go well at all for Tae.
The girl started to explain how a paper was stuck up on top of the fence and was trying to climb up to get it, and sadly was pulled down by Taerin. Damn it, Tae really screwed up hard on this one. Well, she can't take all the blame, can she? If someone else could be in her shoes right at that moment where the girl was climbing up that fence, they would think she might be trying to fall off... right? "O-Oh..." Taerin murmured again quietly to herself, feeling even more dumb. But again, it wasn't entirely her fault, except for trying to squeeze the girl to death.
Just then, Taerin realized she was still on the redhead after she pointed it out by trying to push her back on the shoulders. "Oh! I'm sorry." She apologized, as she picked herself right off, immediately sticking her hand out to the girl as an offer to help assist her up. If she doesn't however accept the offer, Taerin would simply sigh it off quietly to herself and just put her hand back to her side. If she does grab her hand, Taerin would at least experience more of the softness this girl holds.
"...Your chest is very soft and warm." Taerin said, giving a compliment to at least try and brighten the situation if she can. Saying someone's chest was soft and warm? Her fantasies were getting to her again. Damn it! She'll give herself credit for at least saying it flat out instead of being awkward about it, even though she already is awkward right now. "I-I mean, if there's anyway for me to make up what I did for you, I'll do it." Is what she meant to say instead. Damn it again, Taerin.

Yuri was starting to get a headache from blushing so much. That, and the fall hadn't been too kind to her; she couldn't position herself all that conveniently since she was yanked so suddenly, so chances were she would have a bruise or two somewhere on her body. Coupling that together with the goosebumps she suffered from the awkward feeling of friction between her and a stranger that was pinning her to the floor, and she wasn't feeling quite at 100%.
Brushing aside the comment... compliment..? Whatever it was that Taerin had said about her chest, Yuri propped herself up with her elbows and was finally able to sit up. Yeesh, this girl was even more of a perv than Yuri was. "You can start by replacing the work you just cost me," she said, her tone much flatter than before. Her lack of acceptance toward the hand offered to her was a telling sign of irritation, amidst all the others.
When she moved to get up on her own, though, Yuri flinching downwards was accompanied by a vocalized "ngh" sound under her breath. The way she sat on her bottom again and rubbed at a her ankle implied that she might have sprained it when she fell. Yeah, definitely sprained. She hadn't realized it before with all that adrenaline pumping, but now that she was calm, she could feel it aching. Her next addition to her previous statement, in reference to this new information, was likely sarcasm:
"... And covering my medical bills." Following that, "Couldn't you have just said something instead of throwing me on the floor?"

It looked like the girl definitely wasn't going to accept Taerin's offer to help her up, which was understandable. She then decided to slowly pull her hand back to her side. Now the guilt was just swarming all over her. No longer was her face going hot from being very close to the girl, but now because not only she actually did managed to even hug the girl's chest and almost kill her just by squeezing the torso, but now it was because she was embarrassed he even thought about doing all of that stuff in the first place.
Taerin sighed as she apparently had to replace some of the work the girl did after it got carried off by the wind. She doesn't even know what year this girl was. No, she doesn't know who this girl was! But for the sake of trying to fix things and not leave this on a bad note, Taerin might as well accept. "Alright..." She mumbled with another sigh, using her index finger to scratch the side of her head to release some stress from herself.
She quickly took note on how the girl couldn't stand up properly, indicating that she might have injured her ankle pretty badly, obviously by her rubbing on it. Now Taerin was really on the guilty and shame lane. "I don't know... I mean I know it was wrong for me to just pull you down, but I was assuming you wouldn't listen and would just keep climbing anyway and just jump off. I guess my assumption was completely off." She explained. Again, Taerin didn't really think. If she thought this girl was going to jump off that fence, obviously rationality would leave her head and Taerin would just do everything she can to stop the girl at once.
Taerin decided to bend on both of her knees, squatting to come down on the girl's currently level. "I hope I'm assuming rightly, but it looks like you injured your ankle." She said, slowly regaining her composure. Obviously it was no doubt this girl's ankle was injured. "If you want, I can help you go to the nurse or maybe carry you there. And I promise I'll try not to do anything funny this time." She threw another offer at the girl. Taerin didn't just want to leave the girl alone and see her struggle trying to go downstairs and just limping her way to the infirmary; besides, she honestly wouldn't mind carrying the girl nor would have little struggle with it. Maybe a little, but not too much. She didn't practice taekwondo and worked out her strength for nothing. But this was all on the girl to decide on that.

A quiet sigh escaped Yuri's lips, both in frustration and disappointment.
The disappointment part was in herself, actually. Now that she'd calmed down and was thinking properly, as well as not in such a compromising position, it was easy to understand what it probably looked like from Taerin's perspective. School roofs, she remembered reading about, were some of the most common places for students to commit suicide from. It made sense to think that was what was going on with her climbing up like she was, because of which:
"It's fine, I can rewrite it," Yuri said, shaking off her anger and embarrassment at last. It wasn't like she didn't have the information in her head still anyways, it was just a matter of putting it on paper again. It wasn't like this stranger actually meant anything wrong, despite the... almost molestation. "I guess I should say thanks, or something, for the thought at least..?
Leaning forward again, it seemed like Yuri was again writing off Taerin's offer for help; but not without a response, at least. "I'm good, just a sprain," replied the girl, aiming to get to her feet but, again, interrupted by a sharp pain that dropped her right back onto her bottom. She managed to stifle the vocal ouch factor, not so much the ouch expression. Yeah, no way she was going to be carrying all of her stuff back like this. But surely she could hop her way around with enough effort.
"... Egh... On second thought, if you're feeling up to carrying my bag at least..."

Well, at least Taerin didn't have to try and do the other girl's work. Not that she would mind specifically in this case; she just screwed everything up just by making a "small" interpretation. She was lucky enough the girl understood Taerin's outlook on the whole fence climbing. She'll admit that yanking the girl by foot wasn't really necessary; probably could have just grabbed her leg and just hold onto it, but this scenario was slowly getting its happy ending so no point trying to think of another "what if" question.
"You're... welcome..." Taerin said, awkwardly accepting the gratitude with a quick nod. It was the thought that counts for that matter. Really, she didn't need any gratitude or felt like it, at least. Maybe she actually did a good deed to a certain extent, maybe? Yeah, that might work.
It looks like her second offer was declined, but there was no sense of irritation or anger on her face and this time a response was added. That was good news, right? By all means, Taerin really didn't believe the girl at first, but she didn't want to force the girl into taking Taerin's offer. As much as it was in her nature to be forceful, now wouldn't be a good time to use it. In response to the girl, she nodded.
A slight flinch came to Taerin's head as she watched the girl try to get up on her own, only to fall back down. She was then ask if she can at least carry her bag, in which Taerin again nodded her head. "That I can do. But are you sure you don't need any help at least getting up?" She asked, keeping her offer standing for now. Of course if the girl would still try to get up on her own, Taerin would just go fetch Yuri's bag and just come back to her, waiting to see if she can get up on her own.
Great job, Taerin. So far you met one person and already you screwed things up. Taerin thought, softly clicking her tongue in frustration.

On her third attempt to get up, Yuri bothered to consider her injured ankle; thus, less weight was put onto it.
Turning to one side and using both hands to help prop herself up, it seemed to be working okay as she lifted herself from the rooftop. Much easier now, though no less painful. It wasn't a serious injury, luckily--it didn't hurt that much--so a little rest would fix it, maybe an ice pack for a while. "I'm good, don't worry about it," said the redhead, briefly wobbling before she managed to stand up. All of her weight was on her right leg, of course.
Her next task was to limp and hobble toward where her bag was sitting, which she accomplished with relative ease, even if not comfort. Great, none of those other papers had blown away. Just the one would need replacing. Stopping next to her bag, one hand on the fence, she looked toward Taerin again and gestured downwards, as if directing the stranger to gather everything up to carry. Leaning down wasn't on her list of want-to-dos at the moment.
Then, following a pause, "Oh, right, duh... My name's Tokisaki," Yuri said, performing a kind of half-salute with her free hand. Introductions, she'd almost forgotten that courtesy. On-campus was supposed to be her polite, friendly location. "Sophmore. How 'bout you?"

Looks like the girl finally managed to get up on the third try. Hooray! Hooray, right? Right! Taerin watched as Yuri hopped her way to her bag. Once she was next to the bag after making sure no other paperwork was caught by the wind, Taerin was then signaled to pick up everything. With another nod, she squatted down to make sure she got any work lying around, and making sure she had the bag and picked it up afterwards. As Taerin was picking up Yuri's stuff, she was then given an introduction from the redhead. A cute one, if Taerin says so herself. Looks like she has to say her name now; might as well, anyway.
"Kwon Taerin, but you can call me by Taerin or just stick to my last name Kwon if you'd like. I'm also a sophomore." She introduced herself with a small, yet awkwardish smile. "This is kind of my first day in this academy... and I don't really know my way around it that well." Taerin included. Well, at least she can follow Yuri so maybe that's not something she should worry too much on.

A comprehensive nod preceded Yuri's following response: "Newbie, huh? You met the right student," she said, turning once again to move toward the stairs leading downward. Still limping, but getting used to it, and somewhat able to minimize the pain with careful steps. "If you need a guide, I'd be happy to show you around."
Yes, this was how at-school-Yuri was supposed to be. Kind, friendly, hospitable, helpful; the epitome of "model student." It wasn't even an act, technically. She just felt like a double personality suited a double life, so that was what she took up. More of an adaptation than an act, perhaps?
"Whatcha say? Er, I mean... once my foot's not so screwed up, that is."
Did this school have crutches or wheelchairs on reserve, she wondered..?

"A little bit of guidance wouldn't really hurt." Taerin said, attempting to keep up with the same pace as Yuri just so Taerin herself doesn't get left behind or is way ahead. It would be easier to getting to know where to go better if she had a guide, especially with someone in the same year as Taerin, which would make things a little bit less difficult, so she doesn't mind a little bit of help. However, she was going to need lot of it if she doesn't want to get lost like an idiot.
Though, she almost forgot for a moment that Yuri's ankle was practically injured. "That would be great." Taerin replied. It would be for the best for the other girl to just rest her ankle until it was all better instead of trying to walk on any further, just for the sake of trying to get rid of her guilt everytime she sees Yuri limping or so or even a wheelchair.
"So... what do you do?" Taerin said. Might as well try to get to know Yuri as these two were on their way to the nurse's office to pass the time. "I sing, do songwriting, and produce music." She said, giving off some of her hobbies. Being in a big record label where Taerin would be able to show off her musical abilities was always her dream, and it was always for the best to start off small and simple. Not really simple, but definitely starting off small.

Now that Yuri had the opportunity to think about it, this chick was pretty cute.
It was kind of depressing that they had to meet in this way. If she would have spotted the girl in secret at some point, she totally wouldn't have minded sneaking a few pictures for her collection. Well, there was time for that later... While she did usually try to avoid snapping pics of those she actually knew, she could probably make one little exception for this particular girl.
On the subject of that: "I guess you'd call me a photographer," Yuri replied, keeping well in line with what she was supposed to be studying at Fukui Academy. She held no real interest in it outside of her sneaky "hobbies," so she didn't feel the need to elaborate. Instead, as she reached the stairs and began carefully moving her way downward, "Music though, huh? That's neat. I hear it's super hard to make a career out of that, you must have some guts."
Music was a competitive business, if she remembered right. Hard to manage off stage, even harder on it--she always imagined it to be one of those things where you needed at least some kind of talent, or no amount of hard work would pay off. "What kind of music do you do?"

A photographer? That sounded pretty good to take pictures of some of the most beautiful scenery. There were actually a lot of genres, surprising to Taerin herself, that photography contains. At first she thought it was all about taking pictures and you're all set, but there were all sorts oh photography like street photography for example. There were a few others that Taerin heard of but forgotten, but she absolutely knew there were people that like to stalk others and just take random pictures of them. What if this girl... nah, that can't be it. Right? It wasn't that Taerin minded the fact; everyone can do whatever, but if she was involved in that situation, well, things will happen. Lots of it.
Taerin chuckled at the thought of music industry having some tough competition. "True, true. It's always best to start off small and make your way up to the top. You also need to know what kind of audience you're trying to please and make sure you shift up your style a little to grab other people's attention instead of your usual crowd." She explained. And if she could somehow get herself into a well-known music company, Taerin might just have a shot of going big. Then again, it wasn't really all about the fame, well part of it. Most of it was all about uniting people with the universal language which was music, enjoyment from others and just making music for fun.
"I do ballad songs both Japanese and Korean, but I mainly stick with electronic dance music with a more... 'melodic' taste. Not that EDM isn't melodic but something on the more relaxing side or something that can get your heart pumping but still has that rhythmic tune that can be very soft." Taerin answered. EDM overall including all of its genres was slowly arising in popularity; electronic music, possibly trap and house music excluded. Taerin at least hope she'll be one of the many producers to help spread other genres of EDM to gain more popularity. Not that she'll go mainstream with her music or anything.
"And since you said you do photography, what type of photography do you do exactly? You know, street photography, nature photography, things like that. Unless you just take pictures, then." Taerin asked.
