"My soul is bared to all who dare to read it... Which is why I am such a mystery."
YUKINO AO | 15 | SECOND YEAR | HOMOSEXUAL | WRITER (POET)
f r i e n d s
Ao is a lone wolf, as socialising with others has always been difficult for her. She did not have much contact with others in her childhood, and this has thus left her socially disadvantaged. She therefore puts a lot of pressure on herself to make a good impression, as she is lonely at heart and longs for love, platonic and romantic. This pressure results in her becoming embarrassed and stuttering nervously when approached by another person, and it puts her off approaching anybody - this in particular causing people to think of her as cold, a person who spends most or all of her time between the quiet, tall shelves of the dim library. This is very much a hard, cool outer shell, and she is warm and loving on the inside, which is expressed through her writing. She would care greatly about a friend's feelings, and would quietly listen whenever needed, doing small things in her own way to bring cheer to them.
e n e m i e s
A master of the cold shoulder, Ao's method of dealing with people she dislikes is to completely freeze them out. To get on her bad side, one would have to be rude, outspoken and selfish. Perhaps even possessing an overly loud voice, or being 'too sure of oneself' is enough to get to her. Narcissism is a trait that is sure to instantly earn a cold glare from Ao.
l o v e r s
Ao is a true romantic at heart, the type to dote over a lover through poetry, to pass small notes in the library, to leave little secret notes absolutely everywhere. A charming upperclassman is the type to win her heart, and of course, they would have to make the first move and approach her. A hard case to crack, but if someone truly cared enough to consistently try to find out more about her beneath the cold exterior, she'd warm to them and allow them into her heart. Love is very important to Ao, and she daydreams about secret kisses, being pulled close in an embrace without warning, having picnics under the stars...
