MEGUMI ISHII "put me on a pedestal & i'll only disappoint you"
photograph; On a snowy morning some time ago Megumi took some pictures on the beach. Only later did she notice a lithe yet attractive figure in the photographs. Interested in meeting this person, she has struggled to find out just exactly who they were. With nothing but a distant photograph to go on, she has all but resolved herself to the fact that this meeting will never happen. One can dream, right? (subtext, possible friends/romance plot)
how rude; One night while working a patron dropped a full glass of soda on Megumi's white work shirt. Instead of apologizing they rudely brushed by her and did not leave a tip. Because of the nature of the stain Megumi was forced to throw the shirt out, possibly one of her most expensive work shirts. It's hard for her to forget how horrible she felt that night namely because the shirt was a gift from her little sister the day before, her birthday. (subtext, possible friends/romance/enemies plot)
is this your cat?; During Megumi's late-night walks to the condo a small orange tabby accompanies her. This has been ongoing for nearly her entire schooling at Fukui. While she has no idea whom the cat belongs to or where it lives, Megumi would love to find out. Having such a loyal night-time guardian has been one of her few treasures these past years. (subtext, possible friends plot)
you remind me of; In her earlier childhood years Megumi was locked in a school bathroom after hours by someone she considered a friend. As her mother was working the night shift & her sister was far too young to notice her missing she was forced to spend the entire night across from the darkened mirrors as the light switch was on the outside. This led to her unrealistic fear of mirrors and almost certain dislike of anyone resembling this 'friend'. To think that she would actually meet this person again... (subtext, possible friends/enemies plot)
friends; "I love you, I hate you, I'm on the fence, it all depends" none thus far
enemies; "I think you're a joke, but I don't find you very funny" none thus far
lovers; "I don't know why it affects me like this When you're not even mine to consider" none thus far
( Song lyric credit; Pedestrian at Best by Courtney Barnett )

The Photograph Plot
While I'm not sure Julia would be as helpful to this plot as the subject of the photo, but I do think she could be an interesting little addition to the plot! After all what's more detectivey than trying to identify and track down a mysterious stranger in a photo! I'm just now sure how she might get wind of it, unless it's some that Julia would stumble upon her as she was looking into it. And, being the noseyhelpful person that she is, she would likely have no qualms about asking questions. Anywho, lemme know if that works!
