• History: Born in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan; Nana lived in a large family home, complete with relatives constantly passing through, her mother, father and big sister- Shiori. Though her father was frail, he inspired her imagination just as much as her mother and sister inspired her with a dream of playing Badminton from a young age.
  
  
  
  Though this brought many petty conflicts and arguments into her life, Nana lived a relatively wholesome and happy life until her sister left her. It was here that she developed troubling issues with her sister and the realization that she wasn't as normal as she would've liked to be at the time.
  
  
  
  Nana's first fight took place on Valentine's Day. This moment became a turning point in her life. She'd been rejected by the 'ideal' person of her dreams. A girl who strongly resembled her sister in nearly every way. This girl continued to bully her for the remainder of middle school, but also gave her a strong drive to succeed and prove herself more than anyone she knew.
  
  
  
  Over time, what seemed like an obsessive attraction to her sister only turned out to be a strong love for girls and a significant coincidence in her eyes. She'd never attempted to be with any other girl after that, but her popularity grew with her resolve, and eventually, Nana had her first girlfriend; Yoshizawa Hikari. The two were insufferable rivals and both played on their middle school team.
  
  
  
  However, it was time for her to make a final decision at the end of her middle school years. She'd just gotten a scholarship from an unknown benefactor to attend the most prestigious school she knew.
  
  
  
  Fukui Academy. Not so much for her athletic prowess, but for her literary talents, scoped out from the consistent years of storyboarding, playwriting and poetic compositions she secretly competed in.
  
  
  
  Just like her sister, she left her girlfriend behind to follow a dream no less than a week after they'd exchanged promise rings. Now she's left with one conflict spiralling into many.

  Mother; The heart and soul of the Amisaki family, Urako used to be a shining track star in her youth but never acquired any global fame. 
  
• Amisaki Tatsui - Father; A fan of his wife till the end, he is very supportive of his children in their goals, however, he is a rather domineering man when it comes on to his daughters, especially Nana.
  
• Shiori - Sister; Nana's elder sister. They've always had a close relationship until she left to pursue her own dreams. She currently plays on the Japanese National Badminton Team.
