”Don’t mistake aloof for uncaring.
I promise, I’m anything but.”
Yomohiro Hana Seventeen · Female · Japanese · Manga Artist - Hair: Hana’s hair is short in length, giving her otherwise tsundere appearance a cute, spunky flair. It’s naturally thick and straight, and is light brown in color. Most of the time she leaves it alone beyond the normal brushing, or adorns it with a hat when not in class. On occasion, she’ll put a bow or ribbon in it, though it is rarely at a time just anyone could see her being ‘cute.’
- Eyes: Hana’s eyes are probably her one of her best and worst features. She has beautiful blue eyes, but they often match the rest of her face – completing her shy frown that makes her seem unapproachable and unfriendly, even though it really isn’t the case. Her eyes don’t tend to betray her actual emotions, usually remaining generally unreadable except for when she’s crying.
- Face: Hana has a slightly rounded feminine face with relatively fair skin. Her face tends to wear an expression that many find unappealing, assuming she’s unfriendly instead of just serious and quiet. She’s not one to wear a smile just because people insists she should.
- Body: Hana’s body is somewhat childish seeming for her age. If she were the type, she would make an almost perfect Lolita with her nearly flat chest and somewhat short stature. She stands at about 5’2” and is quite skinny, though not to the point of looking like skin and bones.
- Clothing: The brunette girl almost never wears pants. She can often be seen in short dresses with spaghetti straps, often accompanied by a jacket that has furry-looking lining and a matching hat. Her school uniform features a similarly short skirt, though it obviously conforms where it has to. She hates wearing pants, most of the time, though the only reason she’ll give is how restricting they feel, and she’ll usually follow it up with an insistence that she’s a girl, and she would prefer to dress like one.
appearance - General: Hana has a rather aloof-seeming personality. She’s not outwardly emotional, and she’s not very outgoing. She’s shy, and when she does speak she speaks quietly and intelligently, and often a bit grumpily if she didn’t particularly want to speak to you. She’s a loyal friend and potential lover, but no one could reasonably expect her to be the life of the party; she’d just as soon hide in a tree outside than spend a lot of time around a crowd of loud people. She’s often seen reading or doodling something.
- Things Hana Enjoys
- Manga: She’s a manga artist, so it stands to reason. She’s especially a fan of action and yuri, and often writes her own of both.
- Small, quiet spaces: She loves to be places where she won’t be interrupted; don’t worry though, friends are allowed to interrupt.
- Light colors: She is almost always seen in light colors, such as light browns or whites, when not in uniform. She occasionally wears others though.
- Things Hana Hates
- Pants: She loves dresses and skirts. Pants just don’t do it for her.
- Swimming: Hana isn’t a strong swimmer, and doesn’t like to go to the pool.
- Loud people: People who are too loud or talkative get on Hana’s nerves. She’s been known to make exceptions, such as her roommate, who is allowed to talk as much as she wants in Hana’s mind.

- Your Own Section
- Hana has had a secret crush on her current roommate for as long as she’s known her. She has a great many romantic ideas for if she ever works up the courage to do something about it.
- She’s embraced her cutesy look as a way to cover up her perceived lack of sex appeal
- Hana is a great dancer. She’s more graceful than she seems at first glance.
personality - History: Hana grew up in Tokyo with rich parents and two younger sisters. She went to middle school locally where, as always, she was antisocial. She preferred the company of her books or her doodles to other kids. She made a few friends, but no one was especially close to her. She didn’t care. She didn’t need friends. She had her characters and her own worlds. She became a good artist and writer because she essentially never cared to spend time with people, instead spending her time with her hobby.
Eventually, her talents were recognized, and she was invited to Fukui academy. She was happy to do so, because she had an excuse to get even better at the few things she loved, and not be more social than she had to be. Within a year, she’d managed to land herself a spot showcasing her talents as a manga artist in a Japanese magazine, and everything was going exactly how she wanted it to.
That all changed when she met the girl that is now her best friend. It was love at first sight… or at least a huge crush. She went out of her way to make herself available to talk to when she was around her, and the two eventually became friends. All the while, she secretly harbored her crush. This year, they were placed together as roommates; roommates who shared nearly every class due to similar interests.
