Rika Kajiura Fifteen · Female · Japanese · Student - Hair: Raven-colored hair falls short, neat and shoulder-length from the top of Rika’s head, quite wonderfully coiffed and with almost palpable effort put into it. Very, very rarely Is she seen changing its style, typically only for special occasions.
- Eyes: With a hue somewhere on the border between blue and purple, Rika’s eyes exude a calm, controlled visage that does well to match her personality.
- Face: Aside from the beauty mark below the left side of her mouth, Rika’s face is silky-smooth and certainly well cared for. She seems to have great competence in applying her own makeup, which does nothing to obscure a naturally-sly expression, even when she doesn’t mean it.
- Body: At 170 cm, or about 5”7, Rika is a bit above average height for a fully-grown Japanese woman. She developed especially early for her age, as clearly shown by a set of womanly curves typically reserved for adults, to the extent that the lowest guess anyone has made at her age has been 19 years. Her slender form is the result of careful dieting, with the only real semblance of body fat being conveniently focused into her chest and bottom areas, only further reinforcing such misconceptions.
- Clothing: The attire of an off-school Rika can be a bit much; that is to say, she usually looks like she belongs in a fashion magazine in anything but her school uniform, and even then could potentially be mistaken for a model. Both in and out of her uniform, she’s usually seen wearing two necklaces—one with small fish and another with green and red jewels—while any other accessories, reserved for out of school, vary from day to day. It’s usually easy to tell from her attire that she comes from a wealthy background.
appearance - General: Mature for her age not only in body, but in mind; Rika, having spent most of her life around adults and very little around people her own age, has adapted well to conversing with those older than her. She has no trouble keeping up a conversation with faculty, even when they aren’t mistaking her for one of them, while her ability to converse properly with students usually makes things rather bland. As equals, at least—oddly enough, she has an incredibly easy time talking to them when they mistake her for an adult. She much prefers the company of adults, however, as they tend to be the ones she gets along with best.
In general, Rika displays the exact sort of calm and cool persona that her appearance would usually imply. She doesn’t seem all that used to basic knowledge of certain aspects of everyday life, such as taking off one’s shoes upon entering a home, which is easily the result of having grown up in such a well-off family separate from most of common society.
Incidentally, the easiest way to get Rika talking is through literary discussion, whether it be poetry, story writing, or otherwise. She sees it more as a form of expression than simply entertainment, product of having used it for exactly that for so long, and can almost always be found with a book either in her hand or very nearby. If not, she’s usually writing something herself both in and out of school, and seems to focus mostly on a mix of creative writing and poetry. - Things Rika Enjoys

personality - History: The Kajiura family, though it once existed as a rather influential yakuza group, is known these days merely as the owners of one of Japan’s largest jewelry companies.
Their only daughter, Rika, was consequently raised in a very high-class and high-maintenance environment. Her mother acted as her private tutor while her father managed the company, and quite contrary to what most would thing, she did not experience the distance from her family one would expect from such a busy household. The time she spent with her mother in tutoring brought them exceptionally close, and since her father owned the company, he created his own schedule and could be home essentially whenever he wanted. The only thing really lacking for her was a social life outside of the family.
Since she was tutored at home, Rika never attended public or even private school. The only interaction with others that she got was with either her parents or with older people that knew her parents, save for the occasional person her age at company gatherings, but even then she preferred to avoid them. People her age were usually rather annoying, she found, an opinion fostered by her having grown used to being around more mature and intelligent people. She felt more comfortable around adults, but since she was still a kid herself, she couldn’t quite make legitimate friends with them. Most didn’t take her all that seriously, after all.
As a means to express herself in ways she could not do socially, the girl took an interest in writing. Rika’s love for books and literature of all kinds often had her locked away in her room, either reading or writing, a fact which her parents quickly picked up on. They started to realize how unhealthy it was for her to not have any friends her age, but her father—as over-protective as he was—was understandably hesitant to send her to public school. It wasn’t only her mind that matured quickly, after all, but her body as well; sending her to public school with so many boys might as well have been like placing a lamb out alone in the woods and expecting a pack of wolves not to move in.
A private school for girls only was of course the best option when she finally entered high school. Rika insisted on being able to choose a school for herself, to which her parents reluctantly agreed.
A few months into the semester, Rika began her Freshman year of high school at Fukui Academy. - Family/Relatives
