- General Inward Personality Traits
- Self-Indulgent: While not a hedonist by any stretch of the imagination, sometimes Echizen goes overboard on the little things, and has forced herself to keep a financial diary to limit her spending.
- Emotional: Echizen cares deeply about the people close to her, and about their well being. She incredibly empathetic deep down, and often chastises herself for her own blunt delivery of her feelings when they cause harm.
- Passionate: Echizen devotes herself entirely to things she loves, and it shows. She records every runway show she can find and studies walks and current fashion trends, as well as having multiple subscriptions and investing in better cameras to take photos of herself for her own portfolio.
- Things Echizen Enjoys
- Competition: Echizen believes the cornerstone of self-improvement is being a goal oriented individual and having another individual to compete with. Two people locked in contest with one another are driven forward to heights beyond their personal limits in an attempt to surpass one another, and thus Echizen is always looking for another competitor to motivate her progress.
- Runway Shows: Echizen prefers the fantastical fashion of the runway to the fashion shown in most catalog magazines. As such, she aspires to be a model for either the runway, or a designer or company that pushes limits.
- Being Near Others: Echizen takes comfort in being around others, although she seems distant or cold. She often can calm herself by viewing the faces of others and trying to read into their emotions. She'll often even wait until stores are busy before running her errands.
- Things Echizen Dislikes
- Contact Sports: Echizen has a deep seated dislike for contact sports, as it was one of the many things her father attempted to force an interest in to break her of her "feminine" habits in childhood. She still enjoys sports, but finds it difficult to watch things like Kendo without being reminded of a worse time.
- Reality Television: Echizen would much rather spend her time practicing something she deems worthwhile. A simple ploy for viewership that rides on the back of falsified drama is nothing but a chore for the woman.
- Betrayal: Echizen fears deep connection, feeling that it only leads to loss and disappointment. She almost never shares personal information, claiming that such a topic would remove the artistic integrity of her work (after all, the model is only a vehicle for the clothes), or that the information is simply irrelevant at the current moment.
- Echizen's Habits
- Pen spinning - Echizen often spins her pen when writing, as a way of giving herself something to do while in thought.
- Sewing - Echizen has dabbled in sewing here and there to help accelerate last minute alterations to outfits. She's never had to put the skill to use in a workplace setting, but she's still diligent about practicing the basics.
- Photography: Echizen built much of her application portfolio on her own, and still takes pictures of her own outfits for her social media accounts.
- Wearing Heels - Echizen wears heels in any circumstance where she is allowed the choice to. She views the act as a form of practice and preparation for her eventual future.

personality
- History: Echizen was born as Eiichiro Beck in Yokohama in the Kanagawa prefecture to Kaori and Erik Beck, and grew up fairly exposed to the hustle and bustle of a large, commercial city. At a young age Eiichiro was exposed to all kinds of media, from music and film to fashion and poetry. Of these, the latter pair took hold. Eiichiro spent most of his time with his mother, dressing up, writing poetry, and reading until his father decided he was now too old to engage in more feminine activities as a young boy.
Eiichiro was then thrust into the beginning of the academic world. Distracted and listless, Eiichiro seemed to slip by with decent grades for the most part, keeping a sketch journal in his free time. The memories of his early years were swept away in a flood of academics. Eiichiro slowly grew more and more distant from his father, whose unreasonable expectations put severe emotional strain on his child. His father’s turn to alcohol at the downturn of his business coupled with his treatment of Eiichiro led to Kaori’s decision to separate from Erik and, after winning custody of her child, return to Fukui with Eiichiro.
Free of his father’s influence, and seeing a counselor, Eiichiro was able to slowly confront his own grief he was experiencing, gradually uncovering more and more contributions to his mental distress and his own feelings about who he was, and who he wanted to be. At the age of 12 Eiichiro decided to transition. The choice was met with mixed feelings from Erik expressed in a letter, although he was ultimately concerned with his child’s comfort and safety. Kaori and her daughter, now Echizen Hayashi, took up residence with her Aunt and Uncle as she began her transition. She worked at the family onsen for several years, growing accustomed to her new life and gradually beginning to feel motivated and inspired by fashion once again, a love that she had once lost. By a stroke of sheer luck, Echizen met an agent in a coffee shop on a trip to Tokyo, and was given a job working a shoot in Fukui. Echizen assembled a portfolio from the resultant shoot and her own instagram, and at 17 applied to Fukui, an all-girls academy known for its excellent art programs, as a theatre major to further her ability to model.
Erik, through his own efforts and support systems, gave up alcohol and re-established a connection with his now daughter and ex-wife. His relationship with his daughter is still strained, and Echizen currently views her Uncle as her primary father figure. She still works occasionally at the family onsen, alongside her cousins, while her father is working out of a clinic in Tokyo. She devotes most of her time to practicing and studying modeling and fashion, and struggles with making lasting acquaintances because of her hectic schedule. - Family/Relatives
