Reine tends to be more focused on work, but she is not against making friends. The idea of gathering with her coworkers outside of work crosses her mind often, but because she is usually very busy or trying to get some rest and relaxation in, she doesn’t feel as though she would have time to meet anyone. If offered, she wouldn’t be against it. She has a few friends, most are connection from her Japanese university, but she doesn’t meet with them too often unless it is something they planned ahead for. Her friends from home have all lost touch with her, but she’s not upset about that.

Making friends with Reine is fairly simple. She will grow attached if you reach out to her. The best way to really get to know her would be over drinks. In her work setting, she is very friendly but mostly mild-mannered. However, she has a bit of a wild side that can come out when she is buzzed.

Reine has had exactly three boyfriends in her life, two very brief relationships in high school that were fruitless to say the least, and one semi-serious relationship in her early university years. She’s never done anything with a boy she'll admit to besides awkward pecking and hugging.

In college, there was a Japanese friend of hers that she grew interested, a very alluring young lady who she ended up kissing one night in a drunken stupor, but Reine never pursued anything with her or vice-versa. Despite said scenario sparking something inside her, she has yet to enter a relationship with a woman, but has inadvertently and subconsciously stopped pursuing anything beyond friendship with men. Since then, she has questioned her sexuality, but the question is whether she likes men at all. She was raised in a strict, religious family, but doesn’t consider herself religious, so she constantly catches flack from her family for her sexuality. This, however, has not stopped her from being herself.

Reine is a very sensitive individual but getting on her bad list isn’t all that easy. She does not like bossy people or students who show no respect for authority. She also can’t stand people with superiority complexes or overly cocky attitudes. Although she won’t admit it, Reine is a bit turned off by people that come from wealthy families, as they often don’t understand the value of hard work and money, and from her experience, they tend to be insensitive to the struggles that other people face, but she tries not to judge people prematurely. Anyone who makes fun of another individual for their appearance immediately makes her shit list too.

akira&reine: it's a given. reine doesn't like cocky cocks or people that dislike authority (reine = authority, lol), and that's pretty much akira. i can see them bulking heads for a really long time, but deep down inside akira would find the teacher incredibly hot.

for whatever reason akira is a member of a gang and often leaves her dorm at night whenever she's needed. maybe one day she comes back to fukui all beaten and bruised and somehow reine spots her, heals her wounds regardless of any bad feelings she may have for akira, and perhaps they become...friends, perhaps?

The character relations sound good to me~ However, I think that plot line might be better suited for Akira and @ran. Not only is she the nurse character, which would make the situation more believable, but she's probably more fiesty than Reine, which would make her somewhat more likely to butt heads with Akira. Reine is the type that would send a student to the office if they were disrespectful, and I think if put in that situation, she would be the type to panic and call an ambulance. I think we could come up with scenario that would fit them both a little better. If Akira is in her class and being difficult constantly, I think Reine would probably reach the point of desperation and really just want to do whatever it takes to get Akira to act right and do well in class, rather than having to send her to the office every class. Through that, they would probably be able to form a friendship or mentorship.
