Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine squinted and lifted her hand as she exited the school building, shielding her sensitive eyes from the bright sunlight. It was a gorgeous day outside, one that she refused to spend sitting inside of her classroom all day, even if that meant she might get sunburn. The wind was blowing softly, providing a nice breeze that made up for the beaming sunlight in many areas. Reine shuddered and tucked a few loose strands of her bright red hair behind her ear that had been tickling her face due to the breeze. The rest had been tied up in a high ponytail for the day. The students from one of her photography class periods came pouring out of the building from right behind her and out onto the campus grounds. She had finished giving a brief lecture on the use of existing light in nature to her students a few minutes early, and now they were released for a while to explore and capture pictures for a tryptic she assigned. It was just an excuse to be able to come outside, but the weather was working so perfectly to support her lesson. The opportunity to shoot on such a perfect day could not be wasted.
Reine lowered her head a bit, looking down at her camera as she adjusted its straps to a comfortable length and letting out a satisfied sigh. She stepped down from the leveled ground in front of the school and started to venture further out away from the building, glancing left and right to observe her students as the worked. Many had already began snapping away, examining some of the shadows created by the sunlight and reflections created on the windows of the school building. Reine was content seeing her students learning and actively applying the things she had taught them. She lifted her camera to her eye and focused it on a pair of girls who were both examining a shot that one of them got. Their animated facial expressions cause Reine to giggled, which attracted the attention of the girls. They quickly grinned and posed to the picture before Reine took it. Afterwards, she encouraged them to resume working before moving on.
The woman strolled through the area on campus, her heels quietly clicking on the path beneath her as she snapped a few pictures she would use to demonstrate the process of making a tryptic in the programs they had on their class computers. Aside from the sound of students chattering throughout the area, these were superb conditions to concentrate and work in. Reine couldn’t focus too much on shooting for her own personal collection though. There were still students to look after, and the thought of having too many pictures of school girls in her collection weirded her out, even if they were the students that she saw every day. Every now and then, Reine would stop to check on a student as she passed or answer any questions, but eventually she reached a point on the campus where not too many of the students in her class had reached. Reine paused for a moment, double checking the area to be deciding to move on.

Yuri didn't often find much usefulness in learning actual photography.
To be completely honest, a lot of it was useless even in practice whilst engaging in the "hobby" she used it for. Lighting was irrelevant since she couldn't control the location of her targets, nor manipulate the lighting anyways if she even knew where they were, and things like angles and perspective were scarcely considered as well. She usually just picked a spot to hide, pointed the lens, waited for what seemed like a decent opportunity, and snapped a picture when the moment felt right. If it weren't for her need for the grade and to maintain her status as an honor student, Yuri might have ended up skipping class quite a lot.
It was half-decent practice, at least, these out-of-class lessons. The majority of her time during them was spent aiming her lens around and pretending to be into it, but really, it didn't take an expert to tell that she wasn't all that interested. She still managed to fool her classmates, at least, but perhaps one who was explicitly serious about the subject of photography--maybe an educator of such--would have been able to see her lack of enthusiasm as she aimed her camera at this and that but never actually pressed the button.
At least the teacher's pretty hot, Yuri thought, very much tempted to sneak a picture while no one was looking. But she did not. It was much too risky to do that during class and she could always find an opportunity at a later point if she really wanted to. Wasn't too often that she managed to add an older woman to her collection of snapshots, and with this teachers particularly lovely figure, she'd be a priceless addition for sure.
Yuri, whilst pondering what said pictures might have looked like, ended up drifting off into thought with a goofy-looking grin on her face. Her eyes pointed up to the sky as she walked along with her group of classmates and before long, she'd lost track of where she was going; hell, she might have ended up right on a collision course with the teacher she was now imagining strange pictures of...

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Just as Reine turned her head, looking in the last direction before she would start back towards the front doors, she noticed a student approaching her direction. The girl was obviously spaced out, her eyes glued to the heavens and a silly grin plastered on her face. Reine recognized her as one of the students in her current class. If she hadn’t known any better, she would have thought that this girl was really, genuinely enjoying her time doing outdoor photography. But Reine wasn’t so familiar with her face for nothing. The lighting lecture at the start of the hour had been brief yet informative, but somehow, this girl wouldn’t not focus. The memory was vivid of the girl, Yuri, Reine believed, staring off into space during the lecture, obviously not paying much attention or caring for what Reine had to say. Normally, Reine would have pulled the student aside in class to confront them about this sort of behavior, but in her excitement to get outdoors with her class, she let it slide. Yuri sat far enough away from the front of the class anyway, so at the very least, her distractedness hadn’t interrupted the education of the other students.
In a poor attempt to garner the student’s attention, Reine cleared her throat, the sound of her mousy voice almost completely drowned out by the sound of shuffling feet and chatter in the distance. The girl obviously had not hear or seen her and continued on her path, nearly bumping into Reine. Luckily, the teacher had the mind to step out of her way, but that’s not to say that Yuri’s absentmindedness hadn’t perplexed her. She furrowed her eyebrows a little, staring at the girl and nearly pouting just as she passed her. It was hard to grasp how she went unnoticed. Reine was significantly taller than her after all, and had she been focusing even in the slightest, Yuri would have stared her directly in the face at the point of their near-collision. But then again, Reine couldn’t understand most of what went on with any of her students. Things were so different with today’s youth. But rather than get into that, Reine shifted her weight and turned to look at the back of the girl. “W-wait…!” Before she could get too far away, Reine reached out and gripped Yuri’s shoulder gently, just enough to stop her, before flouncing a few strides to place herself in front of the careless student.
”Enjoying the weather that much? If you’re this spaced out, you must be done or have some really good pictures already, right…?” Reine asked almost abrasively, left a bit flustered after almost being trampled. Her eyes lowered to the girl’s camera hanging around her neck and she didn’t wait a second to take hold of it. To be sure she didn’t end up yanking the camera from around Yuri’s neck, she stepped closer to her, her fingers taking a careful hold of the camera as she pressed a button to take it from standby mode and open up her gallery.

When she'd finally started snapping back into reality, Yuri found that one of the clouds she stared at looked very much like a cat.
Maybe it was that observation after imagining a new target for her hobby that made her start thinking about it, but she began to realize how unfortunate it was that she had to take such pictures in secret. The reason she came to this thought--connecting the dots between a cat-shaped cloud and mental images of her the teacher in some pretty risque positions made her brain jump to cosplay. She hadn't once managed to get a snapshot of someone wearing things like cat ears and a tail, maid uniforms, things of that nature... It was easy to see why, since she couldn't just go up and ask someone to dress like that and pretend not to notice her.
A quiet sigh left her slightly-parted lips, and she stopped mid-step when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Yuri, puzzled gaze following the one who'd grabbed her--lo and behold, it was the teacher she was just fantasizing about--her first response was a short, expected: "Eh? It's fine, I guess." It was during her following pause that she figured out why she'd been stopped. No doubt she looked like she wasn't paying attention a moment ago, which... well, she wasn't, not in the least. Even while uninterested in a class subject, she usually managed to keep her focus, but the thought of the woman in front of her in pictures like that...
... Pictures present in the gallery of her camera, which...
"A-Aaahh no, wait..!" Yuri exclaimed, quickly reaching forth to grasp at the camera that had somehow made it into Reine's hands while Yuri was distracted. Her eyes widened, brows raised, hands did their best to both cover the screen and pull it back, and she even leaned forward in her attempts to hug it to her chest protectively before the first image in its gallery popped up on the screen, prepared sooner to fall over than release it from her vicegrip. Unfortunately she was a little late, as a result of spacing out--the teacher very well might have gotten a good look at what looked like a first or second year student in their school swimsuit, stretching out beside the pool. Judging by the slight greenish tint around the picture, perhaps it was taken from within a bush..?
Either way, not something Yuri wanted to be seen, and the panic in both her voice and expression very clearly communicated that.

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine blinked upon seeing the first picture that popped up on Yuri’s camera. It was… interesting, to say the least. Not quite what she had been giving a lecture on, but maybe the student had just been trying to take advantage of the outdoor class to get some shots of her own. The image looked almost as if it had been taken in order to test camera setting. A slightly blurry photo, taken at an awkward angle, of students walking by. At least, Reine hoped that it was what the photo was of, and not an actual attempt at completing the assignment. This was a lower-level photography class, but camera focus was something they had already been over. Before she could look further into the camera’s gallery, the camera was tugged from her hands by the student. She flinched as it was snatched away, giving the girl a curious look.
“Ah… sorry, I shouldn’t have touched your camera without permission.” Reine kept her eyes on the girl, confused by her muddled reaction. The rest of the pictures could have been that bad even if they weren’t right for the assignment. But then again judging by the state of panic that the girl was thrown into, it was very likely that the picture she saw was taken on purpose. Maybe this had just been her thing Portraiture, maybe? Amateur, but still an attempt. Most students were glad so show her what photos they liked that were taken outside of class, even simple selfies, and whether they were amazing shots or not. Reine felt like there was no need for her to be as embarrassed as she was about wanting to learn how to take such photography. Each photographer had their own thing, Reine thought, something that they loved to shoot the most. For Reine, it was more of a personal, aesthetic thing, not really a specific subject matter. She liked harmonious imagery that reminded her of her childhood home. For Yuri, maybe that thing was… Modeling? That could have been it easily. The passing girls in the picture from Yuri’s camera were relatively cute, and were all in natural positions. In a way, the picture kind of looked like something one might see in advertisements or maybe even brochures. The only odd thing was that it seemed to be taken from far away, with remnants of what looked like bushes visible.
At this realization, Reine furrowed her eyebrows. Personal ethics wouldn’t have let Reine take photographs of unknowing people, but she could understand when people ended up doing so. Sometimes people became unnatural in shots if they knew they were having a picture taken, and that often ruined things. This could be understandably frustrating for someone interested in modeling or portraiture. She had even missed a few shots in her times when her shyness prevented her from requesting permission to take certain shots. Nonetheless, she wasn’t going to scold the girl about that. It wasn’t the right time or place to pry too much and cause a scene. It was also her mistake to view her work without permission in the first place, but unfortunately curiosity stemming from the far-off look on the girls face earlier had gotten the best of her. Pretending as if she hadn’t seen anything, Reine clasped her hands behind her back and smiled softly at Yuri. “Just, um… try to get a few more shots in, maybe. Some that are more relevant to the assignment. There’s still a while left until we go back inside and start working on photo editing. Let me know if you have any questions before then. The woman then bowed her head slightly and turned, sauntering her way back towards the main building.

"... Huh?"
Just a noise of that sort, rather than any words, came forth as Yuri's response before she fell into an awkward pause. Hands still clasped around the camera, which was released and given back to her without any issue, she lifted a puzzled brow and stared as the teacher spoke. Did Reine not see the first picture after all? Did she see it and was just alright with it? Did she not get a good enough look at it and think it was something else, maybe? Yuri did react pretty frantically and perhaps suspiciously...
So far, in her time at this school, only one person had found out about her hobby--another student. Yuri managed to turn things around and "convince" that student to keep quiet, but the method she used surely wouldn't work on a teacher... Yikes, that little mishap there could've gotten her expelled if she didn't react quick enough. Maybe it was time she looked into buying separate cameras for class and her hobby, to avoid slip-ups of that nature. She had the money for it, so why not?
"... Uh... Y-Yeah, sorry, Fisher-sensei..!" Yuri replied, swiftly closing the gallery and providing a brief, awkwardly apologetic bow. That sure wasn't the first time she'd had a teacher speak to her about daydreaming, but it was the first time she'd had such a close call with one of them. Her heart was racing a little, started returning to normal as her teacher began to walk away, but instead of getting right to work, she stared for a moment. It seemed like she was safe for now... but it was best to be certain.
A long sigh exhaled after a deep breath, Yuri stepped forth to follow Reine, jogging to catch up and eventually stopping beside the woman. "Say, uh... Have anything in particular to say about what you've already seen from me?" Yuri asked. A double-meaning in that question, the answer to which would help her figure out whether or not Reine was suspicious or not. If not, surely Reine would assume Yuri meant to ask about the assignments and such she'd submitted in the past.
If the suspicion was there, it'd be obvious from the emphasis on "already seen" what Yuri was referring to.

Reine had just slowed her pace once she got a little distance away from the student when she noticed that Yuri had jogged to catch up to her. She immediately stopped in her path to hear what the girl had to say and looked at the girl with a startled expression. Was it that she did want to talk about the picture? Her frenzied reaction just a few moments earlier told Reine otherwise, but if she had a change of heart, Reine was more than willing to entertain. If she wanted constructive criticism, that was what her teacher was for, after all.
“Anything to say…” The woman bit down on her lower lip and fiddled with the strap of her camera, trying to sort out her words and thoughts before she ended up spewing a bunch of nonsense to her student, or possibly even offending her. “Well, firstly… I think if you’re going to pursue portraiture photography or modeling, you should really reconsider going about it this way.” Lowering her gaze, she nervously grasped her camera, rolling the settings wheel back and forth with her index finger. It felt out of place for her, giving constructive criticism to a student on this kind of photography. This was probably because it wasn’t her strong suit either. She had done some modeling before and had worked with models several times as part of her curriculum in at her university and even for jobs to get quick cash. She could definitely even identify what lighting worked best for certain aesthetics or bone structures, but it had been a while since she actually engaged in it. And since most of her experience was in professional settings, she didn’t feel right to criticize or judge someone on how they went about getting the shots that they wanted. But since she was asked…
“The picture I saw in your camera… Well, I totally understand if you don’t want to chance losing the ambiance of the photo by disrupting people while they’re acting natural, but personally, I think it’s a bad idea to take the pictures in these ways. Her gaze lifted from the camera and up to the student, a look of sincere concern on her face. ”Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who would react… no so kindly to having their picture taken in this way, and I think someone might misunderstand if you get caught like this. They might think you’re like those creepy guys that…” Reine stopped talking and let her sentence trail off before she ended up saying something too direct and explicit to share with her student. “A-Anyway, what I’m trying to say is… I haven’t quite reached this point in my lessons, but I guess some students have things that they’re more interested in, so um, if you want, I guess I could help you in learning more about this type of photography. I use my classroom and studio for personal uses anyway, and I’m often here on school grounds until late, so I wouldn’t mind helping outside of class.” She cracked a small smile, her cheeks slightly reddened from how worked up she had managed to get.

Though her expression remained stoic for the most part, save for a gentle twitching of one eye, Yuri couldn't help but be both confused and intrigued at the same time.
This was a mix of either response she expected and made a new one entirely. Evidently the teacher did see that first photograph after all, but... for some reason was not upset about it. She gave tips, even, on how to make them better, and while the suggestion of acquiring permission first wasn't all that surprising, the simple fact that Reine hadn't blatantly protested against photos like that was in itself an unusual thing. That was good new, at least. It meant there'd be no need for any talks of possible expulsion.
"... Eh?" Yuri heard herself say, toward the end of her teacher's response. She had to pause there, process what she was just told, and quickly came to a perplexing conclusion. Did... Reine just offer what it sounded like was offered? The blush she could see on the woman's face certainly gave that implication, warranting the newfound presence of a similar reddish tint on Yuri's face once she noticed it. Okay, this was new. When she expected scolding for potentially-inappropriate photos, she was instead offered more.
Though she was inclined to politely refuse the offer... this was perhaps a rare opportunity, and one which she'd been pondering only minutes earlier--a willing target. She just never imagined that target might have ended up being one of her teachers, and a smoking hot one at that. Was this Reine's way of flirting, maybe?
"Oh! Uh, well..." continued Yuri, perking up a little and scratching at her ear after finally breaking her silence. Her voice lowered quickly, and after a brief glance around to make sure no one was listening in, she asked, "... You'd... really be alright with that..?"

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine’s naturally bright expression sprang back to her face when Yuri finally responded. It was quite the relief that she hadn’t offended the girl, especially since many students got offended even when she gave them less than an A on certain assignments. Here she was, telling a possible aspiring photographer that their technique and ethics were unacceptable and the girl didn’t so much as question her criticisms. Her reaction was far better than Reine had expected. Now she wouldn’t have to worry about talking with any disgruntled parents. Maybe high school kids weren’t so terrifying after all.
Reine nodded swiftly and gave a bright smile to the girl. “Of course I would. It’s sort of my job to help you guys improve, even if that means working with students outside of class hours.” Her nervous demeanor faded quickly and she clasped her hands behind her back. “There doesn’t seem to be that many students wanting my help with this kind of thing since most of them probably see me as just the lady with the boring sheep pictures, but believe it or not, I’ve done some modeling before.” It was an embarrassing thing to admit, and Yuri probably thought she was trying to brag, but Reine wanted to assure her that she was in good… Or at least decent, semi-experienced hands. “I mean, it wasn’t anything amazing, but still…” It was embarrassing for her to be sharing her credentials with her student in order to convince her to let her help. It wasn’t like she was being interviewed. For a moment, she looked around to be sure that no one else heard her shamelessly sharing such information with the girl, but quickly focused on her once again.
”Oh! But I’ll only promise to do it if you follow the directions for this assignment. It wouldn’t make sense for me to help you with extra things if you aren’t doing in-class assignments correctly.” She pouted playfully and tugged at the girl’s camera strap.

Alright, Yuri could totally work with this.
She was taking Reine's offer much differently than it was probably intended. Honestly, she really did think this was the older woman's way of flirting and, after giving it a bit of thought, had absolutely no issues with it. Not up front, anyways. There was a whole other realm of thought that had to do with whether or not it was a good idea to get involved with a teacher in such a way, or even an adult in general, but really, was that even worth paying any mind to? There were so many laws Yuri had broken already and would probably continue to break for years to follow, so as far as ethics went, she was really lax.
"Sure, that won't be a problem," the girl replied with a slight nod, briefly averting her gaze as the strap of her camera was tugged, but returning it to the woman in front of her after a half-moment or so. Body language fit the profile of flirting too, and as Yuri gave a quick up-and-down scan of Reine's body, she started to wonder again what sort of lovely pictures she could get of it. With permission, the limits were really only what Reine was comfortable with... and that probably depended partially on what sort of "modeling" the woman actually did.
There'd be time to talk about that a little later, though. For now, "When and where would work for you? I feel like doing this on campus might be a bit, uh... risky."
It'd be a real problem if anyone saw them taking such photos, after all.

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine released the camera strap and raised her eyebrows, confused by what Yuri had said. The meaning of the word “risky” had gotten lost in translation in her mind, and she instead understood it as “dangerous”. ”Um… I don’t think it would be too risky here at school. There usually aren’t too many people hanging around near my room after classes finish, especially not in the studio… but if you prefer to meet off campus that would be fine with me.”
Her eyes wandered as she thought to herself about where they could possibly meet up. The areas near the school were awfully beautiful, which she noticed everyday on her way to campus. She had meant to take some time to shoot in the areas on her own, but had yet to do so. There was no studio though, and she didn’t have a car that would allow her to transport and access any materials that they might need, like artificial lighting or possibly any changes of clothing. As far as studios with accessible materials, her only options were to use the school studio that was attached to her classroom, or the junk-filled one in her home. Just the thought of inviting the girl over to work in such a pig sty made her apprehensive. If anything was dangerous, her home studio was. In spite of that, she was willing to clean the area and straighten things out if they needed the space. The room was long overdue for some tidying up anyway.
”Actually, I have a studio in my home that we could use. It’s a little ways away from here and my equipment is a little more complicated to use than the things that the school purchased for the studio here, but I don’t think that will be an issue. Honestly though, I haven’t used it since I began working here, so it’s a bit messy…” She crossed her arms over her chest and shifted her weight onto her right leg, tapping her left foot lightly on the ground as she brainstormed the possibilities. ”And with my equipment nearby, we would be able to shoot at the park, possibly. There are other places, but yeah…” Reine snapped out of her thoughts and glanced at the girl once again. “Off-campus is fine with me, as long as you have permission to leave campus. And feel free to invite others along if you’d like.” She beamed eagerly, pressing her palms together in front of her.

Holy cow she's bold, Yuri thought, briefly taken aback by the woman's suggestions. Inviting her home so quickly? No problem with taking pics like that in public? Invite others along for it, even? She was starting to suspect this was far from the first time Reine had hit on a student in such a manner, which was reinforced by how calm and casual the woman was about the whole thing. It was actually kind of impressive and, admittedly, a tad exciting. At least, to a rule-breaker like Yuri it was... and if they did manage to meet off campus, there'd be no need to keep up appearances. The good-girl-honor-student-Yuri was just a cover, after all.
"Your place, then?" clarified Yuri, reaching one hand into her pocket to fish out her phone. If they were really going to arrange this, she figured it'd be best to exchange numbers or emails, or both. So she went right ahead and flipped it open before tapping a few buttons, turning it around, and offering it forth to Reine. The screen was in the "add contact" menu, so it was pretty clear what she meant in handing it over. "I go off campus a lot for volunteer work already, so it shouldn't be a problem."
The only reason Yuri usually went off campus had nothing to do with volunteer work, actually, but she wasn't about to tell Reine about all of her escapades into the city's criminal underworld. Then again, this teacher here already was displaying potentially illegal behavior by offering to pose for such odd photos taken by a student... Maybe if things went well, Reine would end up a potential partner in crime. Having a teacher as a connection like that would definitely have been a fantastic asset, all the more pleasant since this one was indisputable eye candy.
Oh dear. This could very well have been the start of a beautiful acquaintanceship. Friendship? Partnership?
Eh, relationship, if that was what Reine was getting at..?
"Just lemme know when and where and I should be okay to stop by, as long as I'm not in class or anything."

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine thought nothing of inviting the girl to her home. There were a few students that lived nearby who came for short visits to say hi, and some of her coworkers as well. She felt that she lived close enough to the school for these things to be natural. They would only be working on photography after all. It was much more innocent than her knocking back a few drinks and getting piss drunk with some of the other teachers. She nodded quickly once again to confirm with Yuri. “M’hm. It shouldn’t be too much of a hassle getting there if you take the bus.”
Reine grasped the girl’s phone with two hands and carefully punched the keys on her phone, adding her name, email, office phone, and cellphone number to a contact before saving it. This too was an innocent act to Reine. Many students had already had her cellphone number anyway, although they were mostly foreign, English speaking students. “Oh, okay then. Since it won’t be an issue, we’ve got ourselves a deal.” She handed the cellphone back to Yuri, her bright smile never leaving her face. It was hard not to be excited about their plans when for once, a student actually really wanted her help with something. She had more experience with students feeling like her criticisms were simply opinions that they didn’t need to take seriously, or they just genuinely did not care about what their photos looked like. Both were somewhat understandably common reactions considering she did teach at a school where art was most people’s specialty and there were a lot of rich children with superiority complexes running around. She could have hugged the girl from the excitement that she felt, but it was unwarranted and probably inappropriate so she avoided doing so.
“Oh, um… do you have any days where you’re usually free? Obviously neither of us can be at my home during school hours, but I’ve yet to make any regular after school plans with the school, so I’m free after around 4 on weekdays. And on the weekends.” She thought to herself for a moment. Some Friday and Saturday nights were spent drinking or hanging with friends, but if visits were planned ahead, she could probably manage to avoid drinking or at least not be wasted when Yuri visited. “Um… Actually, Sundays may not be good though. I have… I have to plan stuff her classes usually.” She laughed nervously and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. It was true that Sundays were spent planning for the week, but she couldn’t mention the hangovers too.

Taking a moment to consider her schedule--which changed pretty much every week, with school as the only set aspect--Yuri soon after replied, "Is Saturday evening alright with you?"
The rest of the week, except for Saturday, Yuri happened to have other obligations after class. Homework was a factor and while it never did take up that much time, since she preferred to get it all out of the way as quickly as possible, there were some off-campus matters that required her attention. Mostly business, but also a little party for an acquaintance of hers and the inevitable time spent searching for more pictures to take for both class and her hobby... which, if things went well with this arrangement between her and Reine, had a good chance of becoming much easier from now on. It'd eliminate the need for time spent finding targets and trying not to get caught.
Highly convenient.
"Oh, and should I bring anything... uh, 'special?'" Yuri added, a briefly-arched eyebrow relied on to convey her meaning. She referred to such things as cosplay, without regards to the fact that Reine's innocent mind might have assumed she was referencing equipment. As far as Yuri knew they were both on the same page, after all. Hell, this might have even been a great opportunity to actually learn a few useful things about how to improve the quality of her sneaky pics. "Don't really have much to work with, though, so if you've got some things we can use..?"
Reine did say she had some modeling experience, so it felt right to assume there'd be a convenient stash of outfits to work with. Yuri was getting a little excited as well, though for different reasons than the beauty she spoke to...

Oh, love is just labour in vain♥
Reine pursed her lips in though when Saturday was recommended. She had already planned to go out on Friday with some friends, which would definitely mean a hangover and sleeping in until noon. It was probably for the best that she didn’t go through with those plans though. She still needed some time to get her studio in order, and her home in general for a guest. Hesitating briefly, she nodded at the girl once again, agreeing to their Saturday meeting. “Saturday evening sounds good to me.”
Her eyes stayed glued to the girl as she questioned once again. In response to the quirking of her eyebrow, Reine tilted her head curiously, but thought on the question. Even though her studio was a mess, she hadn’t removed anything from the room recently. The only issue was that it turned in to storage with the way she packed her hiking gear into the room. It was also stuffed full of bags upon bags of costumes given to her as payment for working with certain brands, props that she found in random little shops, and supplies for painting that she stored without unpacking them or organizing them.
She shook her head. “Nothing that I can think of that you might need to bring.” She smiled and gave the girl a friendly, reassuring pat on her forearm, brushing it gently before clasping her hands behind her back again. It was unusual for people to find her intimidating, but with all the questions the girl asked, Reine thought it seemed like she might be nervous about the situation. ”But if you have any ideas, you can bring things that you think you might need. I have all of the equipment we need. The only thing you will definitely need to bring is your camera. That way, I can teach you how to work with the settings that you have so you won’t be confused by mine.”

More flirty gestures. Yuri smiled, gave a comprehensive nod and pocketed her phone. "I'll check and see what I have, then," she said, quite a bit more eager now than usual for school to be over. Maybe she could pick something up in town over the next couple of days for Reine to wear during their little photo shoot... There was the issue of buying the right sizes, but Yuri felt like it'd be a little too direct to ask for measurements, especially out in the open like this. As long as this wasn't a one-time thing, anyways, there could always be room for that at a later point. Maybe once they were better acquainted.
With a half-step back, Yuri gestured with an enthusiastic salute, somewhat military-like in execution. "Alright, then it's a date," she added, following soon after by leaning that slight, courteous bow students were usually expected to perform while addressing teachers. Back to work for her, at least until class was over. "I'll see you Saturday then, Fisher-sensei."
Yuri turned on her heel, planning to leave it on that note for the moment. She did still have an assignment to do, and even if she wasn't as interested in photography as most people in this class probably were, she did care about maintaining her GPA. Tedious work sometimes, but worth the effort in the long run.
For now, she'd just have to make it through class without being too distracted imagining what sort of outfit Reine would look best in...

Reine bowed to the girl in return and smiled. “Class is ending soon, so don’t take too long getting those shots.” With that, she turned and walked off, continuing to observe the rest of the students for the rest of the class period.
It was a nice encounter with Yuri, in Reine’s opinion. Before today, she figured the girl hadn’t had any interest in photography at all, so it was a relief to have made plans to teach her more. Yuri was one of few students who never asked any questions or got that enthusiastic about any of the assignments, no matter how hard Reine racked her brain trying to come up with something that would be fun for everyone in the class, including herself. Even if she always managed to do well in them, it was hard for Reine to tell if she was in the class just for the credit hours or if she had genuine interest. To add to that, judging by the constant stoic expression the girl had during lectures, the teacher figured it was quite possible that Yuri was some sort of thug type. She hadn’t hear anything from other teachers or any of the students about the girl, so it was hard to gauge exactly what she was in for when dealing with the girl before this incident, but now Reine had a good feeling that she was in for a pleasant experience. She opened up the calendar in her phone and made sure to save the date.
