Eyes: Deidre has vivid, round, blue eyes. Face: Deidre's has a rounded face with girlish features. Body: At 5', Deidre is a bit short for her age. Like most women in her family, her figure hasn't developed much in way of curves. Still, her features tend to be cute, and she relatively good hair and skin to help make up for it. Clothing: 'If you've got it, flaunt it'. Deidre doesn't have it, so she tends to just wear whatever's comfortable. Hoodies, sweatjackets, t-shirts anything particularly comfortable. Most of it tends to be white though, to match her hair, often with pink accents. appearance General: Deidre can seem quiet, distant, and pessimistic. This is only towards strangers, however. She could have been talkative once you got to know her. Key word 'could have'. Her limited ability to speak nowadays gives her a tendency towards bluntness (or rather, enhanced) and minimalism in speech, since her ability to express complex ideas is limited. Get her on text or IM, and she's a chatterbox. She can also be considerate towards others, however. Deidre enjoys new experiences. As a result, when she's not indulging her love of music either in composing or listening, she's usually out and about on the town. This tends to lead her to spending about as much time as she can out, and she tends to be a bit of a night owl as a result. She also tends to pour herself into her efforts, being a very hard worker. Singers tend to be a target of Deidre's envy. While she can keep herself from being frustrated listening to, say, radio, live performances are a painful reminder to her of her own lost talent. As a result, she can initially be a bit cool, curt, and unfriendly towards singers. This doesn't mean it's impossible for them to make friends with her, but it's a bit more of an effort. If she lets you sing from it, it means she loves you, or at least sees you as the closest of friends. Due to her pride, she's reluctant to let people know why she has difficulty speaking, or that she used to be a good singer. Before the incident that lead to her losing much of her ability to speak, Deidre was a skilled enough singer that, had she applied to Fukui's singing program, she'd have been able to get in. Deidre has a near-enncyclopediac knowledge of the history of rock and roll, something that had always been a hobby of her's growing up. Elvis music is something of a guilty pleasure for her. personality History: Deidre practically grew up with a microphone in her hands. Her parents were two former members of the one-hit wonder rock band, 'Syndicatia', known for their song "The Game". It was a band that had the potential to have spawned more than one hit, but after the three other members of the band turned to drugs, the freshly dating Rodger and Mary knew they were putting their futures at risk. To avoid capsizing their identity to cocaine or heroin, the pair had left. Still, music remained a part of their lives. Her mother got a public relations job with their old record label, while her father became the curator of a small rock museum. Having invested their earnings well, they were able to carve out a comfortable lifestyle. While more introverted than either of her parents, she none the less showed a love of music just like they did, and the singing and songwriting talent to match. Whereas some parents might have told their children to be more realistic, she and her sister, Bethany, had their dreams nurtured. Both of the sisters spent a lot of time practicing, perfecting their talents, though their parents made sure to teach them well to resist the pressures they'd encountered. Near the end of middle school, Deidre was set to attend to prestigious school for singing, the H.N Hughs School for the Vocal Arts, hoping to use that as a launch pad to a career in rock and roll, when tragedy struck. Through a combination of negligence and incompetence, the school's food distributor failed to realize they'd sold the school tainted corn that had been recalled. Among the few victims was Deidre. While nobody died, the disease had left her with severe damage to her vocal chords. While the sound, tenor, and any other trait relevant to the actual quality of her music was left unchanged, she couldn't speak more than a short sentence. Needless to say... Deidre was devestated. By a quirk of fate, she'd been deprived of a future she'd worked so hard towards. Her application to Hughs was rescinded, and her family got a large amount of money from a settlement. That being said, she still had one very strong talent: she was an excellent songwriter. Needing another place to pursue what fragments of her dream she could still accomplish, she applied to and was accepted to Fukui.
