Say hello to this little ball of tragedy. She may seem quiet, but that's because, well, she's not got much choice in the matter. Poor Deidre lost most her ability to speak when she ingested tainted food in middle school. She can still use short sentences though. And pretty much ruined her chance of singing ever again, a talent she was very good at and had worked hard at. She's still a talented composer though Thing is, she's got some issues related to that, chief among them being her envy of singers, since Fukui's uber-talented singers have a tendency to unwittingly remind her of what she's lost. Don't expect her to explain it the first time you meet her though. She's not a total asshole though. She can be a pretty considerate friend, and even singers can befriend her if they're willing to wade through her initial hostility.

Any potential friends will probably be making the first move, as unless you meet her over IM, she's not very chatty, and she's introverted in general. Still, she responds pretty well, and she'll generally gravitate towards her friends any in situation she'd otherwise be alone. She can be pretty considerate too. Most people will generally find that she'll want to take them along to do something, ironically, rather than keep you in a room talking to them. Nights on the town are what she typically is interested in. Of course, it takes a bit more effort for singers to make friends with her. She can be a bit curt and cool towards them out of envy. If someone actually calls her out on them, she'll usually apologize though, though she'll still be a bit short with them. With effort though, she'll make an exception for you, but expect her to still be a bit frustrated whenever you start talking about singing, or sing. And maybe even sniffle a little.

Singers are obviously prime candidates for conflict with Deidre, as its not that far-fetched that her curt behavior towards them might be returned in kind. Or she could treat someone's friend curtly. Aside from that, accidents happen, and Deidre might not admit wrongdoing. She's unlikely to plot to make her enemies miserable, but she's more likely to be catty in conversations towards them, or speak poorly of them. You'll generally have to make the first move in healing things to do it.

lovers

Deidre actually already knows her sexuality, since her lesbian aunts were able to help her along. Not like she's actively searching though. She's a kuudere, cool, blunt, unable to spit it out. She'll get blushy, deny it, yadda yadda. If you''re a singer, well, congratulations, a kuutsundere has a crush on you. She'll be hot, cold, and sweet at the same time, a sort of curt bluntness with a bit of kindness as well. As a lover, she can be clingy. She has a fair bit of emotional baggage to deal with, so any potential lover is going to have to help her heal her heart, in exchange for an girlfriend that's attached to their hip. She'll generally drag her love all over town for fun, but she'll also bend over backwards to do whatever is needed for them.

I could see sending Theora at her to become either a close friend and supporter type relationship or deathly enemies. When Theora wants something, say a pretty voice that she overheard at some point, she doesn't stop until she gets it for her productions. She's quite greedy like that. But she's also the Director. She may take what she wants but she won't abuse or neglect them. She'd put a lot of effort into helping Diedra along, even if there's nothing she could do for her vocal chords. She'd try to help in other ways. But it would be that initial meeting and how they reacted from there that would set them as enemies or friends probably. At the very least, it would demand that Theora learns some level of respect for other people and has to apologize.

Well it could quite easily be in one of the performing type rooms. Theora hangs around those both because of her major and because she hunts for talent. Though Theora is pretty flighty at times so she can be pulled in to almost anywhere. She tends to wander when she's not conspicuously spying on girls and writing plays about them.

Deidre's more a composer type, but she'd obviously be in the music section in general. But yeah. It'd be a bit harder to catch Deidre's talent, since composing tends to be less obvious, but if Theora still could figure out she has talent, could work.
