Aaaand she was done.
Kicking the last cardboard box somewhere off to the side, Pip gave a satisfied huff, and flopped back onto her bed. She had just finished unpacking, and had spent the whole time wishing that she could've just left all her shit in the old dorm room. Why did the school change them up every year? It would've been like... ten times easier to leave everything there for the breaks, then come back and voila! No need for anyone but the first-years to unpack.
...Though, that would also mean sharing the same dorm with the same person for all four years, and... No. Just no. Pip's first dorm-mate had been mediocre at best, her second had been an absolute nightmare. She only hoped that her roommate this year would be at least more tolerable than those two had been.
She wasn't counting on it, though.
Letting out a heavy sigh, Pip folded one arm across her face, letting the other hang limply off the side of the bed. She debated taking a nap, but... Well. No. She wasn't tired. Just bored.
Sitting up, she looked around for something to do. Nothing really caught her eye, prompting her to let out another sigh. So she defaulted to her normal activity when bored out of her mind: picking the nonexistent grit out of the velcro on her boxing gloves. Leaning forward, she pulled her boxing bag out from underneath the bed, unzipping it to grab her gloves. She laid one down on the blankets beside her, and set the other in her lap. Thus began the arduous task of inspecting the already spotless gloves for... anything that might be caught in the velcro.
