Though she had smiled for those around her when Misha learned of her election as Student Council Vice President, she still was wary of being in such an prominent position. The baker was not wont for power and was wary of its corruptive effects; one of the few lessons that her birth parents were able to instill into her before their passing. Perhaps the Student Council of Fukui Academy was did not wield as much power as some other schools, but its influence was not insignificant in managing the larger events of the school. And so Misha dove into her work with a stern and stoic will. And today's work was no such exception. The Theatre Department was about to put on their seasonal production, and certain elements had to be approved, most notably the refreshments served for the guests. Forwarded for review were a bevy of options, ranging from having the Culinary Arts Department cater everything, hiring a various third parties, and a mix between. For better or worse, Misha's work with the family bakery afforded her some familiarity with the external parties, and it allowed her to provide very good feedback on the increasingly-lengthy report that she was preparing for the President who would be making the final decision. At least Misha wasn't alone in the Student Council room. While she was rapidly typing out the report on a rather large but beefy laptop, Kyoko Kitamura was with her. For the most part, the chef's interactions with the painter were cordial, though primarily professional. As person, Misha only knew things from her younger cousin Mashiro. Of course, from the pianist who wanted to make more friends, Mashiro had naught but glowing words of praise for how kind Kyoko was. But what caught in Misha's mind was the way Mashiro described Kyoko's family. The name 'Kitamura' was common enough to be coincidence, yet... "And...that should be it..." Misha sighed heavily and shook her head to get rid of the intrusive thoughts. After staring at the screen for so long, the words had blended together and the baker knew that at this point, trying to proofread would be counter productive. Thankfully, the sharp snap of a water heater provided the right distraction. In her foresight, Misha figured that the task of writing the report would take a while, and so she brought with her a small tea set. With a relieved sigh and an eager smile, Misha got up from her seat and approached the water heater and the small wooden box next to it. "Kitamura-san? Do you have any preference in tea?" Misha asked as she opened the box, revealing a varied assortment of tea.

Student Council was going well enough for Kyoko. She liked working on it, it was very structured and forth coming. It was also god for keeping one busy and their mind distracted from other issues. Quite the opposite from painting, she was finding. After running back to her apartment to grab some files she had worked on the night before (Where she had found out her roommate was sick but a friend was looking after her) she had hurried back and was now in the Student Council club room along with the Vice President and Third Year, Misha Shirayama. Misha seemed responsible and hard working, traits Kyoko appreciated. They had a bunch of work to do with everything they normally had to deal with, plus the girl that had signed up as Tresurer had backed out to focus on her other club, so they had to take on those duties on top of their own. Not that Kyoko was complaining, she was perfectly happy with this work. She was double checking some numbers when Misha stood up and offered some tea.
"Ah..." Kyoko stuttered, "Well, I enjoy green tea, but really I should be serving you, Senpai." Kyoko replied, starting to stand up. There was a proper way to these things and an underclassman shouldn't be served by her Senpai. That was her duty as the younger student. Not to mention she was also Misha's underling on the Student Council and the secretary. Pretty much everything pointed to Kyoko being the one to serve the tea here. She had probably should have asked Misha if she wanted some refreshments earlier, but had been distracted with her work. She didn't know why, but she really did have a tendency to mess up with things when it came to her Student Council Senpai.

Technically speaking, Kyoko was correct. But Misha wasn't happy with that, despite the expression she had on her face. She didn't like being served, or having someone be so subservient to her in general. It grated against the values that her birth parents had instilled in her, that her ultimate role, even in positions of power, was to take care of others. "Then I would make a counter-request that you indulge your senpai by letting her spoil you a little," Misha replied with a soft chuckle, turning to look at Kyoko to give her a wink before gesturing at Kyoko's chair. Afterwards, she took out a teabag of green tea and gingerly set it in the teapot and poured the hot water in after to steep it. The tea was of a simple and ordinary quality, though not poor by any means, but it still needed a minute or so to finish steeping. Misha turned around and headed back to her seat, asking, "Regardless of whoever pours the tea, it will taste just as good, right?" Instead of immediately sitting down, she took her white-and-gold metal cane that was leaning against the side of her chair before rotating the chair around to face Kyoko, then sat down, laying her cane in her lap. She sighed softly and leaned back before looking to Kyoko again with the smile she always wore when trying to calm someone down. "Still, I won't stop you from pouring, if you do insist, but do know that at least for me, there's no need to force yourself to do things for my sake, nor be so formal or rigid." Though Misha spoke kindly, her grey eyes watched for Kyoko's reaction. Indeed, Mashiro did tell her that Kyoko's family seemed a bit...strict. Controlling even, and the thought of it already sickened the blond-haired girl. "Ah...next time then, I should bake some pastries, make it a proper tea party," Misha said, changing the subject slightly. "That way we can talk more freely, no?"
