Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia shoved her hands into her pockets and stared out at the green grass field in front of her, drowning out the voices of the P.E. teacher and the chatty girls all standing beside her in a line they had formed. She never would have thought that Fukui would be big on gym class since it was an arts school. She figured it would be an option, but hadn’t thought that they might value physical education as much as other public schools did. She couldn’t complain though; it was much better than sitting through science class. It wasn’t that she hated the school, just that she was a student, and every student had at least one class that was so boring, it drained them of their energy. Energy she could have been using for violin practice. Or even video games.
Caia’s mind was tugged from her daydreaming when she heard a voice call her name. Some girl, year two from the looks of it, calling her name to choose her as a soccer teammate. Of course, she thought to herself. It had been that way since the first day of class, her being one of the first people picked for teams, or groups, or partners. One would think the other students would learn their lesson by now: Caia was not fit. Or at least, she hadn’t been recently. Yes, she was a bit better than average despite not having spent much time outdoors at all since transferring to Fukui, but she wasn’t nearly as athletic as most people assumed from first glance. After months of shutting herself indoors with her bass guitar, her lanky body had turned on her. She was getting better at sports again, but playing soccer wasn’t something that one could readjust to so easily. Previous classes had been filled with her barely getting the ball over then net in volley ball, which said a lot considering she was taller than most of the girls in her class and about the same height as the net. She also had decent chances to show how stiff she had become during stretches each class. Somehow, that didn’t prevent people from choosing her so quickly.
Caia slouched, mentally rolling her eyes as she walked over to the shorter girl, her eyes glittering with hope. Prepare to be disappointed, dear, she thought to herself, forcing a bright smile and giving the girl pat on the shoulder. It would be alright for her no matter how she performed. She was just happy to not be cooped up indoors for the first time today. And yet, she had no interest in gym class. P.E. grades didn’t count in her opinion. She went back to drowning the rest of the class out, hoping that her height would be good enough to get her chosen as goalie.

"Here we go!" The excitable fifteen year old was always ready to move; she had energy to spare, and most people could tell that at a glance. It didn't make her first choice for everything; she was only 5'2" and with all the foreigners here at the school, she was hardly the tallest or most naturally athletic girl in the class. So, while the older girls were told to pick their teammates, she energetically hopped in place. Miyu, her identical twin, didn't manage to snag the same gym period as her, which kinda sucked, but at the same time it was a great opportunity to meet new people and have some people get to know her as an individual and not just a twin. She waved her hands, but people just pointed at the other girls. "Huh?" Did they really pick the girl with the inch thick glasses before her?! What was wrong with this school?! They clearly didn't know talent and energy when they saw it! Not that Yumi actually had much talent when it came to athletics. She was actually a bit athletic just from the amount she moved around, but that didn't mean she was any good at the sports. Who cared though? This was a fun break from boring things like... ugh... Math! "C'mon! I'm ready!" her lopsided pigtail bounced up and down while Yumi spun and bounced trying to get people's attention. She was starting to think they were just ignoring her. That was when she heard her name. Well, it wasn't her name... actually no one had called anyone. She'd just walked up and touch her shoulder. As soon as she was picked by the taller girl, she did a quick salute, bringing her hand to her forehead and her feet together in a rather quick, sloppy gesture. "Don't worry! We'll do a good job, Ma'am! We can't lose if we put our hearts into it!" The pose she enacted when she said these words only helped to emphasize this. Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia was a bit startled when the hyperactive young girl at her side began bouncing and spinning around. She flinched, forced out of her own thoughts once again, and peered down at her with a curious expression. Her words and awkward military salute forced Caia to laugh aloud. It was hard to tell if the girl was joking around or truly that optimistic to the point of naivety. Not that it mattered though. It was just a high school gym class soccer game, not the world cup. Based on the girl’s reaction, one would assume it was the latter. Either way, it was entertaining to see someone else not taking the game so seriously.
The coach went on chattering about the rules of soccer, which most people knew already, but Caia made an effort to listen for a few seconds, and a few seconds was as long as she lasted. She looked back down at the girl at her side once again, to see if she was listening. The girl was quite small, now that she had actually observed her, and looked like she couldn’t have made it to the high school level just yet. The rest of the team probably felt disappointed that she had chosen such a small girl to join their team, especially since she didn’t come off as the athletic type. The fact that Caia had been chose so early on was a great indication of how their “team captain” wanted the team to look. Aside from Caia’s choice, every person next in line to be chosen had be picked in a pattern where their size decreased with each player. And then, there was her choice. She appeared to be 5 feet tall at most, from Caia’s perspective. Caia was somewhat curious about how things would turn out now. A kid with as much energy could possibly outrun the entire opposing team. Or, her strangeness could at least distract them enough so that Caia wouldn’t have to do much goalie work. She didn’t want to be pushed too hard, after all. Caia humored the girl, giving a half-assed salute back to her while remaining in her normal slouched stance, her other hand still tucked in her pocket. “Good attitude, lieutenant."
Not much later, the coach blew her whistle, calling for the girls to break of into teams, plan for their selected team, and of course, put on the gross, mesh scrimmage jerseys of the color designated for their teams. Without having to be asked, Caia threw on the even more gross goalkeepers gloves and pulled the sweaty piece of nylon over her head, again drowning out the chatter of the “team leader,” the poor girl who had chosen her. Her eyes searched briefly to meet those of the small, quirky girl she had chosen, and when they did, she winked and gave her a thumbs up.

Being called the Lieutenant caused Yumi's grin to somehow grow even wider. So this girl was willing to play along, huh? Good. Maybe this little soccer game could be as interesting as she'd hoped! The first year girl suddenly remembered it was her turn to choose someone as she was standing there, and turned back around. There weren't a ton of remaining people in line to be picked by the girl, so it didn't take her long. She pointed at a nerdy looking girl who was more interested staring at the ground than paying attention to what was going on. "You! Yeah, you with the glasses!" the girl looked up, looked around, and then pointed at herself in disbelief, mouthing (or possibly saying in an impossibly quiet voice) 'me?' Yumi nodded, giving her a thumbs up. "You get to join our team! You'll be great!" Not because of her obviously introverted personality, but because she wasn't exactly the most concerned with winning. That gave the group a lot of freedom to mix things up and enjoy their soccer game, right? She turned around and grinned at her own 'captain,' complete with a thumbs up. "How'd I do, Senpai?" she asked in a cheerful grin. "We've got the perfect people for team 'Fun-is-More-Important-Than-Winning!" Sure, she might have made some assumptions for what they were going for, but Yumi knew the girls on their team weren't the most athletic out of all of the people in the class. The brunette girl glanced at the other team. They'd certainly tried harder. That was the problem with PE class. Some people really cared. A lot of people didn't. This was why the present half of the Nezu twins had made it her goal to just get people to have fun. Life was too short not to! "The name's a work in progress..." she admitted, rubbing her chin idly. "I might go with Team Mongoose instead."TAG: Caia Ocampo

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia smirked, observing the small girl momentarily. Considering the fact that her choice had been one of the worst possible choices, no offense to the poor, flustered girl, they were in for a bizarre match. It was obvious, judging by the opposing team’s reaction to the smaller girl’s choice, that their team didn’t seem like much of a competition. But if her lieutenant’s energy was as consistent and undying as it seemed, they just might have a chance at being able to win and have fun doing it. After all, Caia could be just a little bit competitive at times, and the arrogant expressions on the faces of the opposing team when their nerdy teammate had been chosen made Caia want to crush them. Just a little bit. This would unfortunately mean that Caia had her work cut out for her as goalie, but it was totally worth it, in her opinion.
Caia stepped to the small girl and snaked an arm around her small shoulders, leaning down beside her at her level. “Alright, so here’s the plan, lieutenant: We just might be able to win this thing, but since I’m stuck on goalie duty, I’ll need your support.” She looked up from the girl briefly, taking note of the self-appointed team captain giving instructions to the rest of the team and throwing in a bunch of soccer terms that the majority of the team probably didn’t understand. Caia ducked her head again, focusing in on the girl. ”You see, the opposition’s weak point is that they’re too overconfident. From the looks of it, they think they have this in the bag already. Now, our set-up is looking a little flawed, if we’re being honest with ourselves, but I think we have what they don’t have, and that’s vitality. You and I… well, we’re that vitality. That pep. Even if we can’t out play them, we can out run them, right? With that, I think we might have a good chance…. Can I rely on you to show the type of tenacious leadership and persistent exuberance that will lead this team to victory? Can you out-run them? With a very firm, albeit false look of zealousness on her face, she held her fist out to the girl beckoning a fist-bump. Her pep-talk for the girl was truly a bunch of cliché nonsense, and she wasn’t sure but she may have been plagiarizing a few sports movies that she had seen, but this girl seemed like the type that would eat a dramatic speech like that up.

The taller girl didn't waste time. She leaned down and started giving Yumi her very own individual pep talk. Sure, their own physical powers were less than the other team, and boy did they seem smug about it! Even Yumi could see it from her position several inches lower than the tall, dark-skinned girl. Sports were about having fun, right? Like most of life in Yumi's case. The girl pointed out that the other team was, in fact, too overconfident, that they already thought they had won, and that their own team was gimped from the start due to their choices. But the truth was the other team had athletics, but not the spirit of the dark-skinned girl and Yumi. Which made sense! No one was as spirited as Yumi and Miyu! At least that was a claim the pair had made in front of several kids. Yumi turned back to the girl who was playing the part of the commander, at least for Yumi if not the rest of the group. "Ma'am, yes ma'am!" she saluted before looking back at the other group. Miyu wasn't here to drive her as hard as she would normally go, but surely Yumi could stay one step ahead of them on her own, especially if she could fire up the others while they played. The teacher blew the whistle, and Yumi quickly had to move to a better position. "You can count on me!" she nodded with a grin and a thumbs up. "Show time!"Caia Ocampo | We should probably skip to after the game, win or lose. I'm really not sure how to narrate or get good rp in with the game part x3

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia quickly jogged to her place in the goalkeepers spot after giving her little lieutenant a thumbs up once more. The beginning of the game went just as Caia expected. The opposing team scored a couple of points before losing all of their stamina. As Caia knew all too well, height didn’t always mean better endurance. With the small girl out in midfield though, they had only been able to get the ball to the goal a handful of times, but even with that, Caia had to put in quite a bit of work. She step her defense eventually, deciding not to dump all of the hard work on the young midfielder.
-x-
After the short match was over and the coach blew her whistle, Caia hunched down with her hands on her knees. She had worked harder than placed and was left panting softly and sweating, but mainly because of the sun beaming down on them. Once she took a second to catch her breath, she made her way over to the small girl once again. Some of their teammates were disappointed at their loss, especially with the enemy team celebrating and cheering loudly across the field as if they won the World Cup. Caia, of course, didn’t care. She had a great deal of fun hustling as much as she did and watching the other team work up a sweat. It wasn’t the victory that she initially wanted, but for what it was worth, they did wipe the presumptuous smirks off of the other team’s faces with their hard work and… well, still not much skill. They weren’t complete dominated by the other team at least, and that was something to be proud of.
From behind the girl, Caia lightly tugged the back of the scrimmage jersey she had been wearing, just enough to pull her back a bit and allow Caia to throw her arm around her. ”Good game, lieutenant. You gave them a run for their money.” She flashed an affectionate smile at the girl before releasing her.

Yumi had spent her time doing the best she could, or more often, encouraging the others to do their best as well. Well, she'd successfully cheered them up, but a lot of that energy could have easily gone to doing more work on the field. Oh well. She'd still given them a run for their money, especially considering she hadn't played soccer in a long while. Well... not with anyone other than Miyu, and they were both equally bad. And also only one person per team. Plus they'd gotten in trouble for trying to play soccer in the middle of the store.
Ah well, at least the game was over, and the others had had fun to whatever extent they could. Suddenly, a hand tugged at her jersey, causing her to take a couple of flailing steps back. "Oh! Hey Captain!" she saluted from her awkward hug position, a giant grin on her face. "I just did as asked. I might have done better, but it was important to get the whole team in on the plan!" she reminded in a mock-leaderish voice.
It wasn't long before the girls were told they needed to go get ready; the class was almost over, after all. Yumi stuck near the girl she'd been talking to. Why not? She was fun! "I'm Nezu Yumi, by the way," she told the girl. "I'm a first year. I bet you're older, which is why you're such a good leader or something. You're not a professional soccer trainer here to whip us all into shape are you?" It was a strange assumption, but the girl tended to go with what went through her head.

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia nodded her head in agreement with the girl. The probably would have won the match if she had shared her speech with the rest of the team… Or everyone would have assumed that she had lost her mind. Caia released the girl and carefully tugged her jersey over her head, being sure to stay focused on her so she wouldn’t lose track of their antics.
“First year, huh? I figured as much.” She shook her head rapidly to fix her disheveled hair and keep it from sticking to her face. The girl’s words that followed forced another laugh out of her. She had a bizarre way of thinking, that was for sure. Sure, she was tall, darker than pretty much every student in the school, and above average in her athleticism, but being mistaken for a coach was a first for her. Given that she had just played a match with their fellow high school students, it was hard to figure out how Yumi came up with her theory. In a way, the wild presumptions the girl came up with were kind of cute. Caia liked to be goofy when given the proper opportunity to do so, but she decided not to play along with her on this one. Yumi seemed a little naïve and might have been completely serious, so it would have been a lot to explain down the line if she did just go with it. The last thing Caia needed was outrageous rumors floating around Fukui about her. She had enough of that at her old school.
“Uh, no. My name’s Caia Ocampo. I’m a third year music student, from the Philippines.” She looked up to their P.E. teacher, who had been motioning for them to head inside. With that, Caia started towards the building, patting the little lieutenant’s back and carefully moving her along with her so they wouldn’t get scolded for standing around. “So, lieutenant, what are you in for? Music? Painting?” Her right hand loosely gripped the girl’s shoulder as they headed inside together.

Okay, so Caia wasn't a coach in disguise sent to push the non-athletic students to do their best. She still seemed interesting and more athletic than the rest of the team, including Yumi, herself. The fact that she was older just made her more mysterious! What sort of sights had she seen in her academy time? Well, if she was from the Philippines this might be her first year here too, despite being a third year. But what had she seen there then?! She had like, two extra years worth of experiences!
As Yumi was pushed along, she took off her jersey as well. The jersey the'd had to put on to tell teams apart was so much warmer than just their PE clothes. Yech. "I'm Nezu Yumi, from here," she introduced herself. "...Well, not from here, but I mean, Japan. Akita, actually. I'm a country girl, Heheh." She scratched her nose as the pair headed into the locker rooms. She needed a shower before she went back to class... "But don't let that fool you! Me and my twin, Miyu, are going to be famous pop stars. We're really good at singing, or so we're told!"
Yumi grabbed her things and made for the admittedly fancy showers. A private academy like Fukui could afford the good stuff, and Yumi already appreciated it. Her last school had had showers that were way too public feeling for her to be comfortable with it. "What about you? Do you play an instrument or sing or give speeches to make bands play better?" As she asked, she was already removing the sweaty clothes so she could head into the shower.

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Once inside, Caia made her way to her locker, a little distance away from Yumi’s. “Pop stars huh?” She thought for a moment about the possibility. Two Yumis, prancing around on a big stage in front of a crowd of thousands and wearing school girl uniforms ironically once they’ve already graduated. Or maybe they’d wear something more sparkly and harsh on the eyes, like most of the idol groups these days. Her thoughts wandered, imagining everything from frills to leather… Nah, no leather for someone like Yumi. Caia could get on board with the whole pop star thing though, maybe as someone in the audience or watching from home. Pop stars and idols were mostly just occasional eye candy and conversation starters for her. She had a totally different image, one that would not have been fitting for the pop scene. ”Yuck.” She snickered quietly, the images of her as a pop star and two Yumis in provocative outfits both stuck in her head for a bit too long. She hid a grin behind her locker door.
Caia looked over past her locker door at the girl, unintentionally getting a glance of the girl removing her clothing, which made her shudder before she focused back on the contents of her locker again. Worst thing to turn to see after the leather image. She shook the thought from her head once again and listened to the girl. “Me…? I play violin and bass guitar.” She tossed her sweaty jersey on the bench behind her and removed her gym shirt. ”My singing isn’t even a little good and, well, I’ve never been in anything that I would call a band. My music is mostly for myself and speeches are only a hobby of mine.” She balled her shirt up and shoved it into the back of her locker, taking her neatly folded uniform out so it wouldn’t be contaminated by her sweat. “Most people sing in the shower, so will I be getting a little performance today?” She sat down on the bench behind her and began untying her shoes, unable to avoid looking at the girl now. She was sure to be polite even so, not letting her eyes fall on the girl for too long.

Yumi shook her head as the water hit her hair, darkening it with the weight of the water. She couldn't help but chuckle at Caia's request for a shower performance. It was a little weird, wasn't it? and that was coming from the girl who had recently pretended to be a secret agent while she startled a girl who was playing guitar all by herself. "I don't mind singing in front of people," she answered in a cheerful voice, "But I'll keep the dancing around like I'm on a stage to a minimum." She kept rinsing off while she talked, not really stopping even to address the third year girl. "I tried that once at home, aaaand I regretted it. You could tell Miyu and me apart just by who had the bigger bump on her head."
The other girls weren't really paying attention, but Yumi didn't care either way. She didn't necessarily like drawing attention to herself when showering, but at the same time she never minded an audience for her talents. Someone somewhere had to be around to notice her for all the important stuff, right? Maybe it would be here, maybe it'd be off in a mall somewhere.
"You really want to hear me sing?" she asked, as if the idea excited her despite her words earlier. "Sure! Though, I don't so much write my own lyrics all that much. So if you recognize the words, you'll know why." Yumi suddenly seemed to calm down even as she finished rinsing out her hair; it was like she was channeling her energy into remembering a tune that no one else could hear.
After a moment, she started to sing. It was one of the more popular tunes from a couple of years back, but true to her words, she was very good; then again she was a poor country girl in Fukui academy of all places. Why wouldn't she be? It was obviously meant to accompany music; she wasn't an acapella expert. She did keep the song short though; she didn't particularly want to stay in a state of undress, so she finished as she finished in the shower.
"Whaddya think?" she grabbed a towel, her step becoming a bit more bouncy as her feet left the slick tile. Her shorter hair was dried out pretty quickly, and she went to work drying the rest of her. "Maybe you could give some guy a motivational speech to inspire him to hire me and Miyu, hm? You might get a cut of the paaaay~" Yup. She was trying to convince Caia to work her magic on some other stranger while she got dressed in the locker room.

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia blinked, a little surprised that the girl actually began singing. Understandably so, a few of the students in their class were attracted to the sound of her singing and looked in the direction of the showers to find the source of the singing. The girls began chattering amongst eachother, commenting on Yumi’s sing. Caia glanced around at the girl, a little in awe that she girl had the nerve to sing so suddenly, despite the fact that she would obviously attract attention. Out of politeness, most girls averted their gaze as went back to getting undressed, showering, or getting ready to exit the locker room. Caia, however, listened carefully until the girl finished singing, but continued removing her clothing. She was good. It was easy to admit that, even if Caia wasn’t a true fan of pop music.
Just as Yumi was exiting the shower area, Caia entered with a towel wrapped loosely around her, nearly bumping into the girl but stepping out of the way in time. ”Hm? What’s the rush? I was just coming in to join you.” She smiled to show the girl that she was only joking, sort of. She rejected the perfect opportunity to playfully spank the girl as they passed each other, fearing she might frighten her a little more than needed. Maybe on another day, she thought to herself. Instead, she stepped into the shower area and tugged her towel off. ”Your singing was pretty good. Fortunately for you and everyone else in here, you won’t be hearing any singing from me today. I’ll spare you the painful experience.”
She turned on the shower once she was inside and stood beneath the gentle stream of water. It was hard for her to hear the rest of what Yumi was saying to her with the water beating down on her. She was also more focused on enjoying the shower and cleaning the sweat and dirt from her. From what she could hear though, it sounded as if the small girl was making her some kind of comical business offer. Again, it was very unlikely that the girl was being serious about such a thing, but she didn’t want to agree to anything, just in case the girl was serious. It was hard to tell since her tone was muffled by the sounds of the water echoing in the showering area. Caia just laughed at the girl’s words, satisfied with getting the gist of the joke. ”Um… Yeah, okay. Not gonna happen though.”

"Join me?" Yumi hadn't considered the idea of social showering while she was busy showing off. She didn't actually mind either way; she had done so in a hurry. "Aw. We coulda bonded over being mutually clean," she chuckled to herself as she finished drying herself off before putting the towel around herself and walking back over. She didn't have the same thought process as Caia, instead just making herself easier to hear. There was a break before her next class, so there was no hurry. This girl was fun to talk to at any rate.
"Sooome people might thank you, but I don't mind so much. Dad always insisted on singing when he showered and the whole house could hear. It was pretty bad," she stuck her tongue out playfully, closing her eyes as she did it. It was her teasing way of saying there was no way Caia could be as bad as her dad. He was a good guy though. He still sent the twins treats every week, even if it wasn't much, them being poor and all. Often it was just a goofy letter.
She placed her hand on her chin, crossing one arm over her towel-covered chest and resting the other on that. By now most of the girls once again didn't care that Yumi existed; they'd either left or were satisfied she was done singing and drawing attention to herself while showering where she could be seen. "So what are you doing now, captain? We should have a victory treat! You know, like a reward for trying so hard even though we lost. You think that sounds fun?" she paused and looked directly at the showering girl, looking her up and down quickly. "Er, I mean, you know, after we're dressed probably!"

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ “Even so, I’ll try to keep from singing. At the very least, so spare myself the embarrassing experience.” Caia wiped water from her face and peered back, noting that Yumi had come closer to the shower to carry on their conversation. Most people would have been uncomfortable with the girl hanging out near the showers while they were in such a vulnerable state, but Caia didn’t mind. It was surprising that Yumi had become that comfortable with being around her so quickly, however.
Caia turned the shower off upon finishing and grabbed her towel, drying her hair off as she boldly exited the shower area. ”No peeking, lieutenant. I’m saving myself for marriage.” She chuckled, giving a drab wink to the girl as she reached the area where she stood. Once her hair was dried well enough, she loosely wrapped the towel around her body. ”But yeah, I think a treat sounds nice. I’m free for a bit after this.” She stood at the girl’s side, smiling gingerly and gently petting her damp hair.
Yumi probably didn’t recognize the error in her ways at the moment. With her hanging around in the showers with a naked lesbian while the rest of the class was slowly filing out of the locker room, people were surely suspect that she was interested in some way. If Caia hadn’t known any better, she might have assumed the same thing. Many girls at the school went out of their way to avoid her, especially in the showers. She wasn’t complaining though. That just meant more privacy and space for her. Things were a lot more comfortable when she didn’t have to worry about letting her eyes wander or getting accused of drooling over random girls in the showers. Truthfully, she did find herself sneaking a peek at times, so she wasn’t completely innocent of stealing glances or having lascivious thoughts. In spite of Yumi being so pure-minded and childlike, Caia’s mind hadn’t drifted to the most innocent of thoughts when the small girl began offering her treats, after all.
“Did you have anything specific in mind that you wanted?”

Other people might be getting the wrong idea about Yumi, but to Yumi, they were just a couple of girls in a locker room. It wasn't like Caia was actually hiding any secrets from her, so it wasn't a big deal, right? Well, that was her reasoning, at least. Caia left the shower, telling her not to peek because she was saving herself for marriage. "I've seen girls before, Captain. I think we'll both live," she chuckled. Not that she was going out of her way to peek. She was rather neutral to it all in the current situation. She probably would have been if Caia was openly staring. Probably.
Caia stopped and patted Yumi's damp hair once she was dried off a bit, claiming that a treat sounded good. Yumi closed the eye closest to the patting, the other remaining wide open. "Giving things your all works up quite the thirst!" she agreed. "I don't have a lot of money... maybe a walk to the vending machines outside!" Yumi nodded to herself, bringing her balled fists up to chest level in an excited stance. She pulled away from the patting after a moment, despite liking when her hair was messed with. She needed to get dressed if she was going to quench her thirst with her new friend!
The towel disappeared rather quickly as she pulled out her uniform, throwing things on as quickly as she she could. Within a few moments, she was putting her pigtail back in place, otherwise fully dressed. "Alright!" she exclaimed with a big grin. She gave Caia a friendly peace sign gesture while she waited for the other girl to finish getting dressed. Yumi's school uniform was obviously a lot like the normal one, but decorated with colorful pins and ribbons, most of which having to do with video games; she'd personalized it herself, much to the dismay of the teachers who understood what uniforms were for. They didn't actually have a rule against it though, so she was allowed to continue. "I'm ready when you are!"

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia’s curiosity was piqued by the girl’s response to her playful teasing. Was Yumi attracted to girls? Maybe she was one of the curious girls who was questioning their sexuality. It would have been normal for a straight girl, if Yumi did fall into that category, to quickly deny staring at Caia’s naked figure, or to at least express that she had no interest in her in that way. Yumi had simply avoided doing so.
Actually, Yumi might not have known that Caia was a lesbian at all. It wasn’t like she had come out and mentioned it, but there hadn’t been an appropriate moment to do so. To most people, it was pretty obvious. Caia was a walking stereotype. Tall, thin, and boyish. She had a short haircut and preferred it that length, she didn’t wear makeup or like most feminine things, and she was sporty. People who didn’t assume she was a lesbian were usually denying the obvious. Yumi didn’t seem like the type that would be too informed about these things, if she really was straight.
Caia strolled her way back to the lockers, right behind Yumi. “That sounds fine to me. You can hold on to your money though. I’ll pay, as your senpai.” Once again, her grin was hidden behind her locker door just as she opened it. It was fun teasing younger girls. Well, older girls too.
They had wasted enough time chatting it up, so Caia quickly threw her uniform on, making sure to wear it properly with her shirt tucked into her pants and her dark colored tie tied loosely around her neck. She then shoved her belongings into her locker, packing the rest up into a drawstring bag to take with her. Her hair was still pretty damp, but she just ran her fingers through it, expecting it to dry completely in no time, as is usually did. ”Alright. I’m ready to go too,” she stated as she closed her door, motioning for Yumi to follow her, and then started on her way out of the locker room.

Yumi was fine holding onto her money. She was a nice girl and all, but she didn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and preferred to just go with free when she got the chance. Most of the spending money she'd had in a long while had gone to her handheld game system she had stuffed in her bag. "Aye, Captain!" she saluted when she was informed that Caia was ready to go.
The shorter girl was, well, shorter. That included her legs. Some spirited trotting helped her keep up perfectly fine though, and she showed no real sign of being tired even after working so hard. Well, to be honest she was a little tired, but she had no reason to tell anyone. Looking like she had limitless energy was all part of the fun for her.
"Back into the sunlight~" she stated in a singsong voice as they exited to find the vending machines outside. Her trot became a bit more energetic once she was out in the sunlight again. She even spun around once for basically no reason as she danced around happily.
"I hear vending machine dates are a new thing around here," Yumi hated when things were too quiet for too long. "I was told girls' academies were so we could focus on our learning more, but it seems even that can't stop people from finding love when they want to~" She chuckled her energetic chuckle as she adjusted the bag she kept her books and things in. "Maybe we'll catch someone on a vending machine date. Then I can ask em what its like!" Nezu Yumi, reporter extraordinaire! That would be her role then!

Oh girl, it's true I can never be away from you It's like you gloss your lips with glue Oh we kiss and I am ❖ ❖ ❖ s t u c k t o y o u ❖ ❖ ❖ Caia shielded her eyes with her hand when they exited the building. It was hard to match the smaller girl’s energy. She watched briefly as the girl danced around, clearly excited about visiting the vending machine. A small crept its way onto her lips and she hooked her index finger on the drawstrings of her gym bag, swinging it over her shoulder as she looked around, trying to remember what direction the vending machines were in. There were plenty located near the cafeteria, but that would have required walking all the way through the school. She then remembered that there were some located along the wall outside of the gym. She had seen several people hanging out near them before they started their soccer match early.
Expecting Yumi to keep up, she started walking again, following the wall of the building to make her way around to the other side of the gymnasium. She shoved her hand into her pocket and took her wallet out, peering inside to see how much cash she had. It was enough, most likely, to treat the girl to whatever and as much as she liked. It was only the vending machine, not a five star restaurant, after all.
They soon arrived at the vending machines, just as Yumi began mentioning vending machine dates. Caia smirked, stopping in front of one of the drink machines. She was very familiar with vending machine dates. Not that she had been on any, but she had caught people on these types of dates plenty of times at Fukui. They were much worse at her old school, since there were vending machines on the unsupervised roof of the main school building. Her experience with these dates at Fukui were much… cleaner, lucky for her.
Unlike Yumi had been expecting, there was not a single person hanging out at the machines in this area. Or a couple. This was probably because they were located near the soccer field. They were very visible to anyone in gym class, and they were only really accessible if you were in the recreation areas.”Hm… Guess no one’s been finding love here lately. But who knows? Maybe someday, you’ll find love here at Fukui and get to have a vending machine date of your own.” She teasingly nudged the girl. ”But until then, pick out whatever you want.”

Of course, this hadn't exactly been the vending machines Yumi had been thinking of, so there had been less likelihood of finding a couple of girls hanging out and being romantic here. She'd been thinking of the ones that were further away, not directly within eyesight of any part of the school. Not without walking anyway. She'd intended to go there, but since her 'Captain' had gone for the closer ones, she'd followed. When they arrived, Caia didn't waste much time teasing Yumi about finding love here at the all girl's school as she gave Yumi playful shove.
"I dunno. Seems a bit unlikely," she teased lightly, crossing her arms as she stared at the drinks. "I don't really see vending machines that way!" She broke into a large grin at that point - if one couldn't amuse themselves, what good were their jokes? Actually she was just having fun. She might need to hang around Caia in gym more often, regardless of what others thought about it.
After a moment, she had a drink picked out, which of course Caia had bought for her. She popped the top and guzzled down a good portion in one go - Soccer games were thirsty work! She made a satisfied 'ahhh' noise as she lowered her drink. "I don't suppose vending machines are the Captain's idea of romance either," she kept teasing as if she'd completely misunderstood, though she hadn't. "They just dont' have cute enough faces."
